Highly recommended.
Love this charger, excellent for its intended purpose. Be advised, this unit is big and heavy. There are options out there for smaller light weight units but I like this one for my application. Running group 37 AGM 's, no issues with charging. This is my second unit (other boat) my first was bought in 2010 and still going strong.

This thing is GREAT ! I Have a two bank on my other boat for nine years now. I do not know about any other brand, But you cannot go wrong with Minnkota. If your boat sets for any amount of time you can still count on the batteries. It only takes a glance to check them. Any time you want. I broke my leg so my boats have been sitting for six months now. I can be confident that the batts are still good. I started them yesterday and they cranked like factory

Best bang for the buck in an on-board multi bank Battery Charger
I researched on-line for hours trying to find the best 3-bank "On-board" boat battery charger. I decided this one was the best value because I like the relatively quick charging time of the 10 amp version, I needed 3-banks for charging my two batteries for the 24V trolling motor and the one main cranking battery. I just installed it a few days ago and this thing is awesome! I have had many boats and correspondingly many boat batteries and chargers and the time & hassle savings of having one of these on board chargers is awesome! I run a trolling motor and a lot of electronics as well as underwater and on board "LED" boat lights on my boat, so my batteries get depleted after a day (or night) on the water). When I get home I just plug in the charger and go in the house--when I am ready to go again all 3 batteries are topped off and ready to go! No more struggling to get inside the center console or battery box to clip individual battery chargers to the batteries and charge them one by one for several days! This thing does it all at once. NOTE: you must have about a 10"X18" rectangular area to mount this in your battery box or other dry storage area. I bolted mine down to the floor inside the battery compartment (in my Center console) and it works fine. Also it is Very heavy, probably around 30lbs so plan accordingly. GREAT product!

Keeps batteries charged and conditioned
Well made and sealed against water. Easy to mount and install. Indicator lights are easy to understand what stage of charging each battery is in.

Works like a charm; not bad to install
My husband said that the battery charger was easy to install, more so than he thought it would be. He had a battery that just wouldn't stay charged; he thought it was a bad battery, so we replaced it. The replacement battery had the same problem. Installing this new charger fixed the problem and now everything runs smoothly. It also provides a much quicker charge. There really isn't anything negative to say about it.

First charge
Received the charger from Amazon very poorly packed and falling out of the box. Very thin card board and brown paper with no bubble wrap or packing material. The charger had some scratches and although fairly minor it was disappointing considering what was paid and how nice theu nit is. Made me suspicious if the unit was actually new. That being said I decided to first test it and all banks were charging. The mounting was easy but time consuming as I had to pull the floor to get to the chases. The bulky inline fuse holders caused me to have to pull other wires out of he chases to fit them through the chase tubes. But I like the flat style fuses over the round glass fuses. Bittersweet.First charge going fine and the appropriate lights are on flashing/ solid. Be sure and purchase a long lead if you need to run more than a few feet. Minnkota 15 foot lead is nice and supplied with necessary butt connectors and heat shrink tubing.Warranty is 3 years so I gambled on the scratched unit. Overall I am happy with the purchase.

Excellent Onboard Charger
This 3 bank charger was installed on a 36V trolling motor system with large capacity lead acid golf cart batteries. The previous MKA-330 (non-digital) unit lasted 9 years. The charger recovers the batteries quickly after a full day on the water and keeps them conditioned during prolonged periods of storage. Charger is heavier than most 3 bank units on the market and the 3 bank unit is large so be sure you have enough clearance to mount it where you need it. One bank had to be extended with the MK charger lead extension kit in order to reach a battery on the opposite side of the boat and it was easy to cut, crimp, and splice the two wires together. Would buy again, but hope that MK figures out a way to decrease the overall weight of the digital charger line.
