Expensive Junk, don’t buy it!
Junk, unit will not function unless batteries are at 100%. The rotator, when it works sounds like it’s running on rocks. two brand new units did the same thing. I set tri-pod with a level, tried several sets of tested 100% batteries, works for a bit then quits. gonna trade in for a 350. life’s to short to coax tools to work. I have several Stabila levels and had high hopes for the 160, but they failed fantastically on this one.

Basically useless
Unless I am doing something completely wrong this unit is pretty much pointless and useless unless you just want extremely rough guesses of your grade. It doesn’t show you how much different your grade is. This will be an expensive paperweight and I should have just gone with the cheaper Bosch unit.

Worked great till the warranty ran out
This level worked great for me until I tried to use it recently and it just won’t work. The warranty period is 2 years and I’ve had it 2 years and 2 months. I bought Stabila because they are supposed to be the best, now I’m out $850
