Husband and I were often baffled reading articles and seeing the behavior of today's young adults and teenagers and we did NOT.want our 3 young children to behave in the same way....this book is amazing, we all.want the very best for our kids, but what were doing as parents is the OPPOSITE; were creating self centered, thoughtless and irresponsible MONSTERS! This book is thoughtful written and straightforward in pointing out that were raising kids in a gimme, me first world with on demand everything, and how to avoid the pitfalls of creating children that grow up not knowing how to think for themselves, work for something, and utilize patience in an instant gratification world.An absolute MUST READ A++ book!

I've learned a lot. I can teach this to my granddaughter. And, the ideas were interesting.

Excellent book for parents who want to teach kids to be self-sufficient and able to make good decisions. Simple concepts with plenty of examples and context. Main points are called out for those that want to flip through and get the lessons without reading every page.

Teaching Kids to Think is a well writen book that touches on all aspects of parenting in todays fast pace and advanced technology. Great advice on how to help our children to solve problems on their own. A book that has good advice for every parent.

What a great book for any young parent or, a parent to be. The book gives one insight and guideance into how to raise one's child to think for themself and solve problems. And, as the book states, be independent and develop self confidence. Thank you.

Overly pedantic and repetitive. Love the basic premise, definitely agree that kids are over stimulated and need time to just play and be themselves, but I felt this book could have been a lot more compelling if more concise and personalized, a bit too detached and academic at times.

This product was perfect for my son, who needed a little wiggle time during meals. Would highly suggest.

I'm only about half-way but it makes a lot of good points that help me teach my kids rational thought. I have felt for a while that school teaches facts but struggles to teach rationalization, at least at the elementary level.
