Love the taste and the price. I plan to order more on subscription. Not bitter, works great in French coffee press. Also ratio to caffeine and decaf works well for this AAA. No ill aftertaste or effects. Highly recommended..

II was wrong. EVERY single pot, there's coffee floated out of the filter, and grounds in my coffee. Not the off single ground, no, a thick mixture that ruins the last third of the pot.I honestly thought it was the coffee, and I was WRONG. This coffee is fine, it was my permanent filter, that was choked with fine particles, that led to the filter overflowing. The coffee is fine, good flavor, I will buy it again.

Keep in mind that decaf coffee has a different taste than regular, because the beans have to be soaked in water or solvent prior to release the caffeine prior to grinding. Being that half caff is made by mixing regular and decaf together, half caff will have a different flavor due to the decaf mixed in. It's important to note this, because it's not a fair comparison to compare this flavor to another variety that isn't half caff or decaf.That being said, I think this coffee has a great flavor. I initially bought Maxwell House half caff, because I figured $1 more for name brand (compared to this) was worth it. WRONG! Maxwell House half caff tastes sour and bitter. I only had two cups of it before contacting Amazon and requesting a refund. I used my refund to buy Happy Belly Half Caff and I'm so glad I did. This brand tastes MUCH better than Maxwell House half caff, and even smells better too! Name brand had a weird smell, whereas this can of coffee smells great -- like how traditional coffee smells.I read online that the fineness of the grind can also affect the flavor. This seems to be ground finer than Maxwell House half caff, so I'm not sure if that's why it tastes better? But, most importantly, it DOES taste good. I can barely tell the difference between this and a cup of regular coffee. However, I would warn to be cautious when deciding how much of the coffee to add to your brew. The directions state to use one tablespoon per 6 oz of water. This much produces a VERY strong brew -- the kind where you have to add creamer 3 or 4 more times to try and tone it down. I find that one heaping teaspoon of coffee per 6 oz of water produces a much more enjoyable brew for me. I would say start there and adjust based on your taste.I also enjoy the other benefits of half caff with the Happy Belly brand as well. Notably, no jitters/anxiety and a bit softer on the stomach. Overall, I highly recommend this coffee. Taste and smell are great and it produces a nice cup of coffee without the extreme caffeination of regular coffee. Plus with competitive price and next day prime shipping? I don't foresee myself going to the grocery store for coffee anytime soon. :)

Why would you ship in a container that gives the illusion that you getting more than you really are? Coffee is good.

We very much enjoy this coffee. Hard to find a decent 1/2 caff, and the price is great! We go through it pretty fast, so I just ordered two more! A little put off by the long shipping time when other coffees can be received overnight. You just need to plan ahead. My plan is to order another one when we start the second of the two I just ordered.

This coffee is okay but not as good as Folgers.
