Slippery when wet
Overall, great shoes. Five stars. Only complaint I have is that when you're walking in and around rocks, these shoes are very slippery. I do a lot of bank fishing in Colorado in very rocky terrain. I've come close to slipping and falling a few times. The Keens that I replaced weren't like that at all.Just wanted to put this out there so people know.

Good quality product.
These ar good shoes. Fit is accurate and feel good. Now have a heavy duty shoe that will keep my feet dry.

Shoe strings are to short
The original shoe strings are at least 10 inches to short to be able to keep the shoes fit right. I took the old shoe strings and put them in the new shoes to make it so they would stayed tied. Other than that they seem to be good shoes. This was my third pair.

Comfortable and solidly made, these are ideal for my carless lifestyle. Ordered 9.5 wide, and they're true to fit with plenty of room.

Good quality boots for the price
Fits like they are supposed to, very durable hiking boots and very little break in time. Hiking with the Boy Scouts I put many miles on these boots. These are the third pair I have owned in 15 years so, they last 5 years used hard

The best walking hiking shoe I’ve ever bought (& I’m 70!)
Will never buy another brand.I bought these because the price was good as were the reviews. I needed a solid shoe as I would be doing walking excursions in Alaska & Iceland. The shoe needed to be solid, slip-proof & not heavy. I’ve owned this pair for nearly a year; the maker needs to be praised & thanked for making such high-quality shoe and selling it at a fair price. I also use them for my daily hour-long walks, on cruise ships to walk the promenade (often wet), on a glacier (definitely wet), on desert sand (never wet), on muddy fields & even in my garden. My recommendation would be to buy 1/2 size larger. I returned my first pair because of the tight fit but the 1/2 size bigger pair I replaced it with has been perfect (especially with thicker walking socks or fluffy wool socks).I’m thinking of buying another pair just to have them in my closet when the tread on my current pair wears down (and become unsafe). But after nearly a year, the tread remains in good condition.I’ve never ever returned to my Amazon account to submit such a raving review of a purchased product after heavy use. I had initially purchased these shoes to wear on cruise excursions in Alaska & Iceiand & for my daily walks in Miami. Exceptional product.

Comfortable and waterproof, lacks durability
Very comfortable and waterproof. I’ve bought 4 pairs of these over the past few years. The durability is the only thing that always makes me hesitate to continue buying them for the money. I am on my feet all day as a UPS driver, and am only able to get 6 months out of them before the front end of lacing support breaks, and traction dwindles.
