The media could not be loaded. At first i was a little worried while deciding to buy the tawa as there were mixed reviews about it. But after receiving the product i am feeling relieved. It is as expected. A lot of people complained that it is heavy but we cannot expect cast iron to be of light weight. Further to prevent rusting and retain the seasoning we have take the initial care as instructed like we take of any other cast iron cookware for the first few months to make it work life long be it from whichever brand. After using it for 3 days i could now differentiate the tawa from the one we get from local vendors. The finishing is excellent but seasoning doesn't stay long, it is like a blackened layer which comes off just by slight scrubbing. You will have to depend on your own seasoning. The one which i had purchased locally and seasoned myself doesn't require reseasoning if used regularly and the seasoning layer also never comes off. But still I like the product because i do not have put any effort in cleaning the product which i had to put while cleaning those i purchased locally. And it doesn't require so much of seasoning time which the local ones take. Look at the dosa i made. How easily it came off. It is just that give it some time. Use it regularly. It will work amazingly

Material is with goo quality. But problem is.... the pan is like bulged in centre (or may b shape is like that, I am not sure). When ever I pour oil on pan, as it is bulged in centre all the oil is going to corners. Actually, it should be flat

First off, we have used many skillets / cast iron tawas in the past over last 20 years or so, so the concept is not new for us.we trusted Vinod as we had previously used their products, but this iron Tawa was a first.in the first two attempts we were unable to get proper heat into the tawa, Note: we followed all their instructions to the T.on our third try, this tawa got a CRACK on its own, which of course surprised us.We never knew , this was just the beginning of a very bad experience with this brand.It's ok, sometimes, products aren't well made. but contacting customer care of Vinod has left us extremely disappointed and disgruntled.1) the Lady who attends Vinod customer care calls, is to say the least Horrible. no mannerisms to talk,2) our call was picked after trying for atleast 5-6 times. and we have spoken thrice in a span of 30 days.3) we were asked to mail the team with pictures and to keep patience while her boss ( customer care lady's boss) replies.4) her boss didn't reply till we sent 3 reminders and after 19 days of original mail. extremely poor response times.5) the lady scolded us, stating , nothing is wrong with their products and if we want to further investigate , we should courier them our product,6) same was said in a shabbily written mail, blaming customer about how we don't have uinderstanding of operation of a tawa.Ofcourse , I got a feeling about warranty claim won't be taken forward with this company.It's extremely poor customer service , totally Unprofessional, and if you cannot deal with customer complaints, please don't sit in that position and blame customers without listening to them. have a polite demeanor, those are basics.I will never consider purchasing Vinod products here onwards. I would have accepted my Money gone down the drain, but getting such response for a product I paid for , when there isn't even my fault is pathetic.I am writing this review after a month as I didn't want to write in anger.future buyers BEWARE.

It has exactly been a year of usage and the base of dosa tava has started coming off chipping ( attaching image ).So there is no longevity on this product although the size and functionality wise it performed well for a year.But it doesn’t prove to be value for money due to its deteriorating property right after a year of usage.

Best quality pan ever used! Absolutely money valued product! Go for it

Product is good. Good weight material. Dosa is crispy.But... Heat is not properly available on all sides equally. Hence dosa sides are not proper cooked.Handle is too hot to handle. Hence be careful

I was bit susceptive about its performance. But it is working fine.Just a tip: It will take time for you to get use to it. Use it on high flame for a short duration until it gets enough hot and then switch to medium flame for use, it will save gas.Build quality is great and it is of standard size.Cleaning is easier than the non-stick tawa.Provides adequate non-stick tawa experience.
