I have a 32 pound frenchton that likes to wonder in the car. This works great. He can still look out the window, sit or lay down. Keeps him safe and is a good size for my backseat. Material is good and looks like I can wash if needed.

I purchased this hammock seat for my blind dachshund. Since she lost her sight, I noticed she didn’t act secure in the back seat.I initially looked at car seats, but with her visual impairment I could see her attempting to jump out. This is like a car seat, but with higher sides. It reminds me of a topless crate. The seat was easy to install and gives her room to cuddle down in the blanket I put in the bottom. It limits her movements in the back seat and makes it less likely she might fall off the seat. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Bought this because my dog got car sick with hammock style or full backseat seat covers, would vomit and spread it all over the backseat, which was then a hassle to clean. First, it solved the getting car sick almost completely. Second, when he does get car sick and vomits, it’s contained to the area of the car seat so it’s not a hassle to clean. Third, it also eliminated so much of his hair all over the car. He is ~45 pound dog and he seems pretty comfortable in it. He can sit completely upright, sit in the kinda sideways position, stretch his legs a bit and also curl in a ball. It’s also super easy to install and change from one car to another if needed.*I took off one star because mine came with wrong installation instructions + no care/cleaning instructions.

Saw a corgi on the picture and instantly bought it. WAS NOT LET DOWN this is by far THE best car seat we’ve ever purchased! HIGHLY recommend if you have a medium/shorter/smaller dog.WHY this works:1. Zips all the way up on all sides and stays straight, giving our little guy his own little basket. This gives you your other seats back - we’ve had ones that span across the entire backseat. Kind of a headache when you have friends who need a ride.2. Makes him feel very SECURE. Even has a seatbelt attachment! Perfect for dogs who get anxious in the car. It’s roomy enough for his long body (see photos) BUT keeps him confined in his area which really helps him chillllll out.3. The zippers. I’ve seen ones that you have to hoist the dog over the ledge. Our guy is medium sized but PRETTY heavy LOL - would not be easy to get him into our SUV if the sides didn’t zip down.4. Attachment for the bottom layer. Excellent design, if it gets dirty you can just remove the bottom to wash it.Love it!! Buy this now!!

Set up was smooth. I’m just not happy with the product is not sturdy as I would’ve hoped.

I got into a fairly major car accident (thanks to an idiot who blew through a stop sign going 50mph+) and my dogs were in the back seat (they made it through without a scratch). They used to be my car riding buddies, but ever since they have been afraid of car rides. My family lives about 4 hours away so we take long trips about once a month. I already had a hammock in the backseat, but they would end up squished and huddled to one side of the car. Terrified to sit on the other side of the backseat (side of the car that got hit). Then they'd be panting and hot, because one would literally be sitting on top of the other. Not a good situation in general. Especially not when your dogs are a 58lb lab mix and a 50lb English pointer. I finally found this seat. I put it behind the driver's side and my English pointer liked it right away. They each have their own side of the backseat once again. It can hold either of my dogs and they can lay down in it comfortably. It's studier then you'd expect when installing it. Install it just slightly loose or it's going to jerk on the headrest and make a noise every time your dog lays down. I've been very happy with it over probably five 8 hour round trips. Bonus is my dog sheds a lot and this helps keep all the fur contained. A blanket or small flat bed in the bottom works nice. Highly recommend and wish they would make one for the front seat!

I wish I would've taken the other reviews more seriously. It's not sturdy whatsoever. I thought it was slightly flimsy, but there's zippers in all four corners, which makes it easy to break open. I also don't like where the bottom two zippers are located for the harness clip. I wish there was a better spot for it. It's also not very comfy for a dog. I wish it had some more padding to it.I do like the double straps though, which is the main reason why I bought if. It keeps the seat from moving around. I also like how tall it is, to keep my puppy from trying to get out.

I have two 20lb dogs and it's perfect for car rides for them. I have captions chairs as my 2nd row so I couldn't use a traditional long cover on my seats. Keeps there hair out of my car for the most part. And they nap or enjoy kings or look outside window no problem. The harness straps helps keep my more curious dog inside and the straps around the seats don't cause any damage to my leather. Would appreciate another strap to keep both buckled in but love this thing! Used it for a road trip and the kids seemed comfortable the while eating. The inside pocket even fits a water bowl inside and holds it still which is really nice !
