It works
Worked a treat to help relive the struggles to administer the inhaler to my dog at the time

It does the job.
Arrived on time and my jack russell doesn't mind it but she knows she will get lots of praise and a treat at the end. Would recommend.

Spacer for inhaler for a dog - it works!
With our elderly dog developing a bronchial cough, a number of treatments were suggested and tried by our vet. One was the use of codeine to supress the cough, but our dog didn't like this at all - not only does he not like tablets (developing all manner of ways to hide them in his cheeks and spit them out when he could), but codeine also affected his general behaviour. Finally the vet suggested an inhaler administered once a day in very much the same way as a person would - using a spacer to diffuse the spray before it is breathed in. This is going to be fun we thought! There are a number of suitable diffusers spacers available and a little internet research will pay dividends. If you have an average dog shaped nose on your hound - the pointy version - then the best selling diffuser will set you back about £75. We thought we would try this one, at about a third of the price, as we could see problems in getting our dog to accept this.In the event we took it slowly. We introduced him to just the breathing mask first, without it being attached to the spacer. A smear of roast beef or similar inside the mask will encourage curiosity and acceptance, as will a reward treat. Take it very slowly and don't force anything. A day later try the mask with the spacer attached, but no inhaler. Only when that has been accepted (and we found the best tine was when he was laying alongside us resting on the sofa) then go in very gently with the inhaler in place. By that time he remained relaxed and allowed us to administer the required "puffs" without flinching - just needing a soothing word during the process (you will need to hold it in place for 20-30 seconds) and a small reward afterwards. This spacer works just fine.

Can't see when the cat is inhaling
I thought the blue plastic disc in the inhaler would move to show the animal was inhaling, not so. Bought as back up to much more expensive inhaler.

Fantastic value
Bought this for my Siamese cat who has asthma. Works well and teenth of the price of the one I could’ve bought at my vets!

Rubbish, need different mask shape
Started to train cat to use by introducing with liver paste in the mask opening. Got to the point where he would lick the paste but because the mask is too shallow it wasn't good for a cat. Ended up holding him in blanked and using inhaler. Thankfully he was deaf so the sound didn't freak him out. Unfortunately he had a huge asthma attack in the night and he sadly passed away. Recommend you don't let your cat get too fat or have air freshners to prevent asthma in the first place.

Good value
Really great product for my dog. Been looking for an inhaler support that doesn't cost a fortune, this is spot on and my dog doesn't complain that much! G

As described
Just as expected and does it’s job, cat doesn’t like sound of the enhalor and the fact it covers her face but that’s all
