Excellent value for money great all round welder

Came very well packaged. The welder itself is very light. It came fitted with a 5kg reel holder which I had to remove and make up a 0.5kg reel holder, with bits from my old welders. All the leads are good and thick.One feature I like is Synergy. On Mig when you change the amperage the welder automatically sets the wire fead to match, no more playing about to get it right. There is a gas port at the back of the welder. For Mig welding. The Tig lance has a connection for a bottle regulator. I turned and treaded a fitting so I could use 390g Argon bottles. The bottle went empty quick. If you are going to be doing a lot off Tig you would be better with a big bottle and regulator. MMA or arc/stick worked ok. There are + and - lead ports on the front which you change around depending on what you are doing. Might have had the MMA the wrong way round but it did arc ok just a different sound compared to my old Oxford.Have not managed to get the over heat to trip yet. I think the duty cycle is 60 or 80%. Has a good cooling fan.Over all I am happy with it just got to figure out the tig welding :-) M

Only used gas less mig & mma so far ,but am very impressed by the quality of welds produced, compared to my previous machine (mighty mig) the welds are a lot cleaner & controllable . Being a hobby welder, the auto syncing of wire speed & amps is very helpful

Very happy with this welder, sturdier than I was expecting for the money and very easy to use. The seller was very quick to get back to me about an aspect of the tig welder that I didn't understand. The only conplant I have, was about the manual, I found that there wasn't very good for someone like myself who was new to welding. A short video about the welder would be really helpfull.
