Great!!! Worked to program keys for my bmw and a spare for my Jeep wrangler. It’s also a decent diagnostic tool. Paid for itself already and saved me a trip to bmw dealer first day I got it. Five stars

while trying to add a key - not the all keys lost function - the process failed. Now the existing keys don't work, cars ignition won't work, car won't lock, and I'm getting no communication with the vehicle.I have a message on the im508 which I've attached - apparently adding keys can damage your cars ecu.If autel support helps solve this problem I will update this review to reflect that. As of this writing I urge any potential users to find a different tool, such as launch x431.

Works great

I've had mine for 6 months and it stopped communicating with Honda and Toyota Vehicles 4 months ago and I can't even add a key to a 2004 Accord. Tech support has been unable to resolve the issue.Automatic selection rarely works correctly on any manufacturer vehicle. My Snap-on and OE Diagnostic/Programming equipment has completed every job when the im508 failed, with out issue.

By far the best key programmerSo far i have been able to program both a 2017 Chevy Silverado wit anti theft system. And a Honda crv.It programs all the keys that the more expensive model does with the xp400

Just starting to use and hoping it will help my car lot save on the cost of making spare keys.
