Quality Plugs. My Explorer runs like a Lexus!
I had a bad cracked plug and decided to change all of them, even though the rest were probably ok. My plugs work in another car I have so I can move them around. Originally I had Motorcraft OEM Finewires, which have a single platinum thin wire, which is actually thicker than the ground tip on this plug.I had to gap the plugs, they were around .039, Spec is around .054. You can use a needle nose pliers or a hook type tool that comes with a gaping gauge. Do not put pressure on the fragile tips. Gap can be in the ballpark, even Denso says so. These plugs are extremely efficient. My 96 4.0 OHV Explorer can now chirp tires from a stop, and the idle is a bit improved over the OEM. It feels like all the low end torque this engine has(its best feature) is being fully exercised! It has a carbon fiber LS rear end and you can tell both tires try to spin. I don't know gas mileage yet, but if it improves I'll comment. Does it turn it into a Hotrod? No. Do you get a small handful more HP? Maybe. In the cruising range where there is more demand and torque converter lockup it feels a bit more smooth confident, like a much newer car. Also very smooth at higher RPM. Are OEM plugs comparable? I would say yes, but the idle seems better and that may even save some gas. You won't go wrong with either. Why are these plugs very good for this application? Because this engine uses a "Waste spark" system. It is not coil on plug. Sometime sparks will come off the ground end, and there is a finewire platinum point there(The original factory plugs came in two types, one had Pt on the electrode, others on the ground). Also, it is a physical fact that a thin point will concentrate the most voltage and give the best spark. A thicker electrode will do the job, but this is almost an ideal arrangement.Proof? I have software that monitors mode $06, which can see even a single misfire. I always would have a few handfuls on a trip from different cylinders. Maybe 20-30 in total. Well within spec. Now? Maybe 1 or 2, sometimes 0.In the real world, it may be a slight improvement over OEM, since OEM Is a finewire albeit this much thinner and has two of them. These same plugs are OEM on many Lexus cars, so you really can't go wrong. Those cars also have a 120K mile interval, so you can be assured of 100K, even more, that may be worth something in itself.

good plugs
I used this on a 96 tahoe it runs smoother I check them often and they appear less fouled than other plugs which means better combustion when I smog it here in california one inspector said it is as clean as some imports he checked.

Best plugs I've used
My son told me about these and I installed them in my Silverado. Greatly improved gas mileage and horse power. I will purchase these from now on. It's been over 6 months and I still have the same performance as when I installed them

Are they Worth the EXTRA money?
Ok. I’m going to give my opinion on these plugs. Cost money to improve your rig as these are twice as much as some other plugs but not ridiculously expensive. I’m a Vanner, Yes I’ve got 3 so plugs are a real pain to change, that being said. Have bought the E-3 plugs for a V-10 and 5plugs fowled after 7 months. Was very disappointed, at 14 bucks a plug plus tax and the P I T A to change plus the price to buy other plugs. Updates will follow.

Seem to work just fine.
Had no problems. Gapped easy enough, more pep, better mileage as expected.
