Wonderful Sharp Rough Carving Knife
Knife arrived very sharp. I’ve used it for a while now, and it has fulfilled my expectations.

If you know anything about knives you know Morakniv.
Tried and true, Mora classic 1/0 in carbon that cannot be beat. If you know anything useful about knives you already know Mora knives are an outstanding value and are made from excellent steel. As an owner of three they are truly the only production knives I care to keep in my arsenal and use regularly. If your a bladesmith like myself you may wonder why they are worth buying... Price point and quality. Hands down there isn't anything comparable to the Mora knives for their low price point that isn't made in China... Thats a plus hands down right there, Swedish quality. Lastly the good high carbon steel they use. I'm personally one who stays away from a stainless blade as IMO carbon is superior, couple that with the scandi grind your already ahead. That said they are properly heat treated, tempered and sharpened from the factory with an "almost" razors edge. Few passes on a good leather strop and they shave while holding that edge extremely well, again a testament to their craftsmanship. A few things can be done to the classic series to dress them up a bit. One, bluing or placing a patina on the blade followed by a good coat of oil. Second, dye the leather belt loop with leather dye or vinagaroon dye which turns veg tanned leather black. Third, knock back the shine on the plastic sheath with 0000 steel wool and your set! You can address the tooling marks on the blades edge by further work on the stones. I personally see no need as the factory edge is great, strictly cosmetic and not bad whatsoever. Again, for the price these blades just cannot be beat!

One of my favorite knives
Morakniv makes wonderful knives. This one is no exception. Came out of the box razor sharp is easy to sharpen and is super comfortable in your hand.

Good for the price.
Fairly sharp, not shaving sharp though. Blade has a small amount of wiggle in the handle which is concerning.

High Performance / Low Price
I’m a huge fan of plenty of higher end makers such as Esee, Tops, LTWK, etc. Nevertheless, this knife is entirely adequate for the majority of knife tasks. Very sharp, very efficient geometry, and will give you years of enjoyment if you take care of it. That is, I just wouldn’t beat on it as it’s not designed for a beating. It does however excel at it’s designed purpose… Cutting like a boss!

A bit smaller than anticipated
I actually bought this expecting it to be similar size to my older Mora Classic (painted handle with the + on the end) and it's quite a bit smaller.Nonetheless, it's made very well and it came razor sharp. The sheathe is much better than the old style, with leather for the belt loop instead of hard plastic that will break.Overall, the craftsmanship of these knives has dramatically improved over the last few years, and the price hasn't moved that much.Well worth the price, I use it every day.

Lovely, and back to basics
People with large hands might find this grip too narrow, but it is exactly right for me; I don't care so much for a huge chunky knife. I own many colorful Moras, but there is always something special about carbon steel, and wood.If you don't like the sheath, well it will protect the blade until you can source another.

Most used
Without a doubt the most used everyday knife. Opinel no. 8 stainless close second. If you're not busting out massive bushcraft survival tasks on a daily basis then this knife will excel with regular everyday tasks. Which to me is way more valuable than going out and playing boyscout or pretending it's the end of the world again.
