Amazon said this would not fit my 2017 GMC Canyon. I went with what the K & N site said but ordered this from Amazon. Perfect fit! I had one of these in my last truck for 15 years before I traded it for my GMC. Does it improve performance? If it does, it's not really noticeable. Does it improve gas mileage? If it does, it's maybe 1/2 to 1 MPG average. So why buy one? If you plan on keeping your vehicle for a long time I think it's definitely worth the extra $ up front. You will not ever have to buy another air filter. I think I might purchase the cabin filter next.

After changing to the K&N air filter I noticed an improvement in throttle response in my 2019 GMC Canyon. Fit perfect.

The dealership wanted $25 dollars to replace my throw away air filter. I bought one of these for $40. I have used K&N filters on all but one of my vehicles (because it had free maintenance). I feel as if I get a bit more gas mileage in my truck with this as well, not much but more than a few extra mpg. These things run for a long time without having to be cleaned and when they do need to be cleaned its quick and easy. You can wash them in water or use the K&N spray.

I installed the filter on my truck and immediately felt the response and power difference from the pedal. Should have invested in this product along time ago. Great value!

This unit was ordered as I have used K&N products in the past. Overall is restored a sensation of more power but have not seen any real increase in mileage. That will take time to evaluate.

I have used these air filters in several vehicles over the years and never quite noticed any change in performance. However, In this vehicle I have noticed better acceleration from stopping at red lights and smoother acceleration going up hills. My truck already gets 23.4 mpg with 9500 miles on it, and it's a 4x4 SLT. If you really want good fuel mileage the first thing you need to adjust is your own driving habits.Another thing is put some good Michelin Defender tires on it. The Goodyear tires that came on this truck were terrible.When I took the AC Delco factory filter out it was so thick and bulky I don't see how any air got to the engine. If you have this 3.6 engine, please try one out and see if I'm kidding about better performance.* I don't see any need or reason to disconnect the battery to change out the air filter as one person on here has stated must be done.

I'm not sure if this increased the horsepower of my vehicle but it came with a little sticker I put on my back window so people know I mean bussiness when stopped at a red light.

Have 154,000 km on filter. With regular cleaning and oil from recharge kit and good as new. A real step up over oem paper

It's a KN! Highly reputable brand and unquestionably efficient. What surprised me is this superior quality air filter is significantly cheaper than the factory original.

I could not buy this filter locally. Makes a noticeable difference to my trucks power and mileage. The motorcycle air filter will be the next purchase. Great product delivered on time.
