Extreme Original Urethane Clearcoat 5185 w/Medium Hardener 5187

Used to finish my skoolie paint job.As expected it gives a nice gloss clear coat . I used a garco paint sprayer to apply this and my custom coat valspar paint from lows.The side that was in the early morning sun came out perfectly . The side in the shade got a few drippy runs .The drips got sanded and turned out fine .I mixed in micro pearl ex and loved the effect it gave . A slight glittery effect like you see in a lot of paint jobs.I used 2 spray cans of 2k clear around the top edges and a few other spots so I could focus on spraying bulk and not worrying on edges or details I would recommend this and do it again if I had to . Let it dry and then wet sand the texture orange peel with 1500 and 2000 grit . Then finish up with a polishing and wax with a buffer . Bam awesome paint job . I’m happy with the results.Move fast and do your best this frosting on the cake the tons of people will see and ultimately judge the worth of your vehicle and craftsmanship .I did 3 coats of paint under this that also got wet sanded and was able to get 3 coatsUse googles and a serious Respiratory protective safety equipment. If possible have help but it is not needed . I ran into a issue that my nozzle was off center and when I sprayed the first time clear coat shot back at me and past my safety glasses and got in my eye but didn’t have a lot of time to remove all my safety gear and properly clean out my eyes as I knew the clear coat wouldn’t wait and it would harden soon on the equipment and close the little spray hole and could become difficult and altogether useless waste of time and money. So took apart the gun to fix the issue and beat my self with emotional stuff like now I am going to be blind with a bus that looks like sh** so I could cry a little to help flush out my eyes . This was not an easy fun job but the end results were satisfying . Good luck I hope the information helps you.
