Good looking strap for old set of Mares fins
Nice rubber strap 1 2/16 inch wide along the straight notched ends. Fits into to clasp of 20 year old Mares Plana Avanti fins where the opening of the clasp is 1 1/16 inch. The 1/16 inch wider strap is soft and has no trouble fitting into locking clasp..Rubber looks fresh and was in a vacuum sealed blister pack that says Made in Italy 10/18. My Amazon order says they were sold by DIPNDIVE fulfillment by Amazon

Great replacement straps
Strap fits perfect from the original mare strap I had from years ago. These straps usually last a very long time. My original straps lasted me 10 plus years.

Worked perfectly on my old Avanti Quattro fins
Worked perfectly on my old Avanti Quattro fins. Hint....don't try to save the old straps, just cut them off and pull out the pieces. They are extremely difficult to remove and save. When installing the new straps I used a flat bladed dinner knife and a pair of needle nose pliers. These made it simple rather than the frustrating process it would have been without them.

It's kind of a PITA to replace
The Mares fins I have are more than 20 years old, and it was a big issue getting the new strap into the buckle. I was worried I would break it, but it just turned out to need brute force. And it held up! Let's hope the strap survives some snorkeling. I don't doubt it, but just be aware it's not a slippery and pleasant install.

Same quality and design as Dacor.
These are an exact copy of the straps that I replaced on my Dacor Tiger fins, so the fit is perfect. I haven't used them yet so I can't speak to the durability, but they look as well made as the Dacor originals.

Exact original manufacturer replacement
Mares uses a different height and shape for the 'ridges' on its straps and 3rd party products do not stay properly adjusted. This product is an EXACT replacement for the original fin straps. The original straps lasted several hundred dives so I would expect the replacements to last just as long. Other fins brands I have used, and generic replacement straps I bought for more money that did not work properly, were clearly inferior in quality.I love my Mares VOLO fins and expect by the time the new straps wear out the fins themselves will be ready to replace.

Did the trick
It was a replacement strap for my scuba fin. It doesn't fit as snugly as the one it replaced, but it does what it needs to do.
