CRAFTSMAN Lawn Edger Tool, Corded, 12 Amp (CMEED400)

I bought this equipment through Amazon Warehouse. The set up was a challenge. I guess that is why it was returned at one point. Definitely the edger had something wrong but after many tries and a lot of patience, we were able to make it work. Once the edger was functionally ready to go, we didn't have any trouble. Now, it is working very well. It is light and does not require too much effort to cut the edges.

I just got this edger in the mail it was relatively easy to assemble but I've got to ask Craftsman what is the deal with the long extension cord and the difficulty of getting those screws through the tubing so that you can tighten the nut on it I hope the wiring isn't affected by this design and by having to put a screw through the tubing that could potentially puncture or cut the wiring on a scale of 1 to 10 I give it I give it a seven because the wiring is too long and it's not a really great design however the engine ran fine and the blade cut well overall I'm pleased with it but I don't like to force anything when I'm assembling it

Easy assembly. Used it on my sidewalks and driveways. Corner lot house. It’s much better than the Black & Decker that I had. Power rivals the gas powered ones.

This thing is a beast. Had not trimmed the sidewalks for several weeks. It cut through the thick grass like a hot knife through butter.

We purchased this edger at Sears nine years ago - it lasted so long that we purchased it again. Great electric edger and easy to use.

This edger took very little assembly but getting the screws aligned and the wires out of the way took me 15 curse-laden minutes.The edger performed well but it isn’t as tough as the one I had 25 years ago.
