It works great

The shed door was chopped up where someone tried to break in. So that a new door knob would not work.This fixed the door without having to patch with wood putty that would not have been strong enough.Easy to install with 4 screws. Make sure you install the door knob assembly latch first and the latch bolt is facing the right direction, else you need to remove the reinforcement bracket, but an easy fix.

Relatively built solid,nit to thick or thin worked great for my job

When I wanted to replace my front door latch/deadbolt, the old set up was 3 inches apart. Nowadays, it is 5 inches and so I needed something to cover the old deadbolt opening (that had been filled in). This did the trick. I also needed one for the dummy set up on the other front double door, though this had to be cut down because weather stripping and the locking mechanism.

This product was a major help. I had a relative, who lived alone, go for a stay in the hospital.Her neighbors did not know she was away and called the police to check on her.The police nearly destroyed the door getting in to her house to check on her.The door was in such bad condition, i thought i would have to replace it. Then i found thiscover; it worked perfectly.

Product didn’t fit standard doors

Excellent product! Great way to install new hardware on old doors that have the old skeleton key mortises. They look good and function great. They cover up the two small holes from the old-style hardware and hold everything together inside the hollow space. All you have to do is drill a 2 1/8" hole for the new handle. I highly recommend.
