Butler CreekComfort V-Grip Sling with Swivels

I bought this sling for a Mossberg 500 shotgun. I needed a longer sling due to the placement of the swivel studs on the weapon. Unfortunately, not many slings list the maximum length on Amazon, or even the manufacturer's web site. I ended up calling Butler Creek, spoke to an American rep who actually had the sling on some of his weapons, and he was able to tell me the max length is 48 inches.The sling is everything I had hoped for. The swivels are Uncle Mike's metal swivels and seem well constructed. The rubber shoulder pad is very sticky and does a good job of keeping the shotgun on my shoulder. The pad feels like silicone rubber which is a tough synthetic rubber. Adjusting the length the sling involves manipulating two buckles, so this is not a sling that you can quickly adjust; most likely you will get it the size you like and leave it there.Overall, I am very happy with the Butler Creek Comfort V-Grip Sling.

This sling sticks to your jacket like glue; it will not slip off. It is also comfortable; just what I needed to walk to the stand, often carrying other things, and not have my rifle continuously slipping off. Be aware, though, that you will be deterred from that quick shot when you jump a deer, as it will not slip off quickly then, either.

Got this for my husband...he loved it. Butler Creek has great products and sells themselves anyway. And what a price! Would definitely buy another!
