this elliptical is great for all my cardio needs
Since I don’t really have the time to go to the gym, this elliptical is great for all my cardio needs. I like working out in the comfort of my home and I like that it’s compact and convenient enough to fit in my living room where I can simultaneously work out and watch my tv shows. The attached transport wheels are an added bonus since I am able to store my elliptical elsewhere if I do have guest coming in.For the price it is, you can just tell that this elliptical is made of high quality material. It’s fairly easy to put together with simple instructions and all tools needed were supplied. The handles and pedals also provide great grips for the hands and feet. The handles and pedals might look big in pictures, but that’s what I love about this elliptical since it makes it comfortable for a wide range of heights. The spacing for the feet makes it perfect for accommodating someone with a larger foot and are generously wide. My feet fit on them with plenty of room to spare and it feels very sturdy and balanced whenever I’m on it. The strides with both the handles and pedal flows effortlessly and quietly to the movement of my exercises.Overall, this was a good purchase based on the limited noise level and ease of putting it together. This elliptical is exactly what I am looking for as it fits in all my cardio exercise and I love that I can easily track my progress with the provided LCD display. I would definitely recommend this for all your home gym needs.

Highly recommended for a well built space saving model
I have had my Marcy for over a year and have not had any issues with it.I use it every day, multiple times a day.I work from my home office and this Elliptical has such a small footprint that it fits in my office without being in the way.The dimensions after set up are: 38" L X 19.5 " W X 63" TIt is very sturdy and quiet.I am 5'4" at 127 Pounds and this machine does not wobble or make any noise. My husband is 6'3" 220 and can use it with no issues.I gave it 4 stars due to display panel. When you buy a machine at this price point you cant expect the display to compare to much more expensive equipment.I love that the display has a lip that holds my tablet very secure.A tablet will cover the display but that is not a deal breaker for me as I use other apps to track my activity. And I like to watch Netflix while working out. :) Win - WinIn my opinion the calorie burn count is quite a bit off on the Marcy. I think it registers more burn than you actually do when compared with other apps or machines.I did add a water bottle holder.I highly recommend this Marcy for people who need a space saving full body work out machine.I put it together myself in about 1.5 hours.Tip: There is a bolt on each side that attaches the stride leg to the crank. As crazy as this sounds, those bolts had to be on the correct side in order to tighten down.

Amazon is stellar, manufacturer not so much
So, I ordered this for my wife and I to use when we can’t get to the gym. It has been in one place, and used by two people on average of 4-5 times a week for an hour at a time - I say this to preface the fact that it has NOT been abused in any way, nor had what someone might consider heavy usage. The machine itself gives one a decent workout and you can set the resistance pretty easily. However, right from the start I had to keep adjusting various bolts on it that would work loose, again with what can be called “normal” use. It squeaked and squawked but still mechanically seemed fine. Two months - TWO - after I purchased this, my wife noticed a slippage somewhere in the flywheel mechanism so I again tightened the bolts in a vain attempt to take care of the problem. When I realized that it was inside a part of the mechanism that is definitely not “user serviceable,” I called Amazon to see about either repair or replacement. They were extremely friendly and professional and put me in touch with the manufacturer, who told me that they would send out a replacement part - essentially the entire guts of the machine.I then get an email from said manufacturer telling me that we need to wait 6-8 WEEKS for the part. So, I use the machine for two months, it breaks, and now I have to wait two more months to use it again.Amazon, again, was professional and handled the situation extremely well and refunded my money. This experience, however, has completely soured me on getting equipment like this online. I will continue to be a loyal Amazon customer, but will most likely never buy this kind of product again. Too much $$ at stake and too frustrating.
