This item came sll broken in little pieces it was impossible to to returned, I let the vendor to know and they replaced in two days, I want to update the review to 5 stars, very hsppy with the way the handle the problem, i recommend this company.

I realize scent is very subjective, but based on the reviews I read I was not expecting it to smell completely like men's colonge (Drakar) - not sure where the bamboo is!?!? However, the candle itself lasts a long time and is a good value - I just wanted a scent that was more "fresh".

I first found this candle at Wal-Mart yrs ago. It is no longer available, so I was thrilled to see it on Amazon. Of course, it's more expensive than Wal-Mart. But I expected that.Pros:The scent is like a sensual, expensive unisex cologne. It's not overwhelming, yet it gives a room a classy and upscale fragrance.The 2 wicks burn evenly, which is important to using the entire candle.The fragrance used is not too much in the candle. Using too much fragrance oil will make the candle turn smokey and make the scent smell burnt.** You can tell if there's too much fragrance oil in the jar by looking to see "wet or slick" places scattered around inside. It will also look"frozen" in some places.The wicks do not slide back down into the candle. They don't bend over when burning, making one or both wicks unable to be lit again.It can be put on Subscribe and Save.*"Please be sure to trim the wicks after each burn. This will ensure the candle doesn't smoke when lit again. A decent wick trimmer can be found on Amazon. I also recommend a bendable lighter. This will make lighting the candle when it gets low easy.I have no reservations in recommending this wonderful candle.Cons:The price.This candle will be cost prohibited for some people, especially if they aren't Prime members.

This has been one of my favorite fragrances for years, and it's getting hard to find. So glad to find it at a great price. It's a calming fragrance that reminds me of the Oregon coast with the forests, dune grass, rain, and the ocean.

Smells amazing!!!

Excellent value, and the appearance is exactly as shown. This burns evenly and the 2 wicks lets the candle light simply. You actually enjoy the candle to the end of the jar. The fragrance on every Village Candle is there until the end. Love these candles.
