A terrific kite for a child. I bought this to fly with my little girl, who is nearly two years old.Assembly was very simple. It comes with instructions, but because the struts come partly installed and anchored it is fairly intuitive, anyway. It comes with kite string and a simple handle.Provided the wind is fairly steady, the kite flies very easily. We had a good steady wind and my daughter could hold on just fine, though after a minute or two she would let go of the handle and the kite would fall out of the sky.This isn't a complaint, but one should be aware that there are several long streamers (10+ feet) that hang from Minnie's feet. These are necessary for proper flight. However, if you're trying to manage a child at the same time as you're connecting the kite to the string (small plastic hook) these can a little tangled. The kite will fly as long as the streamers don't get wrapped around Minnie. This never happens while the kite is in flight, but it happens easily if you're walking with the kite and the wind is whipping around. They can also get caught in nearby trees if you're not careful. My daughter also likes wrapping the streamers around me (May Pole style).

I must of skipped over the size description as the kite was smaller than I expected. However, it was very easy to assemble and boy can it fly. My daughter loved it and so did the other kids and adults and her party! I would recommend this purchase for any Mini fan or kite enthusiast!

There’s a very long tail that keeps getting tangled. And it’s like the entire thing is too heavy to fly.

This kite doesn't have a lot of surface area, so is a bit more challenging to get airborne. Doesn't fly as high as others. The construction materials are resilient, all parts included, and easy to assemble. Arrived undamaged. Easy to repackage for the next time out.

My son LOVES Mickey - so we thought this would be great for him. I don't know about the design/structure of this (obviously not a traditional kite shape) but this thing does not want to fly. Even in very hard wind. Tried to work with it on two separate days, one with low wind and the other with hi wind. We had other kites in the sky on both days - so not a matter of wind.The kite just wants to crash and not stay in the air. It could possibly be how the fingers were bent that it kept diving to the ground, but we could not get it to stay in the air for more than 60 seconds before it went down again. And not always a violent crash, often it would just float to the ground - in very high wind. the only way to keep it in the air was to keep the string at about two feet out. Not exactly the high flying fun that you would expect from a kite.And it may just be me, but the picture shows a happy Mickey reaching for the sky - but the actual face of Mickey on the kite, is somehow more menacing - like Mickey is preying down over the kids. Just look at the second picture in the description.

This is a sturdy kite for an affordable price. My Minnie Mouse loving daughter had a great time trying to fly her kite! Also the line is lengthy and strong! Perfect for little ones and adults alike.

Great Kite! Took it to the park with my daughter and had a great time. As with all kites we had to run to get a good start but once the wind caught up it was flying high in no time! Highly recommend. Very durable for the price.
