This coffe ks spicy and sweet, I like sweet bit not spicy. This coffee is weak, over priced, not good quality for the price. It taste better on french press, not good for automatic drip. There are better colombian coffees such as sello rojo, Quindio or Juan Valdez, El plateado coffee is another option. All those coffee brands are cheaper than this coffee and taste way better.

I was prepared to like this coffee no matter what, because it is from a bird-friendly source. Turns out, it makes the best cup of coffee ever. Mellow, just a touch of acidity. Slight chocolate notes.

Smooth and delicious. Everything shade grown bird friendly coffee should be. Low acidity, ethics you can get behind, great for hogging to yourself or for gifting to a bird or coffee lover!

I have a stove top espresso maker that seems to bring out the chocolate tones in the bird friendly Guatemalan coffee beans I buy. Tasting 'overstated' I bought this coffee to try and it makes a wonderful strong brew with no bitterness. Bird friendly coffee is important to me and the Smithsonian verifies that it meets their standards. I will buy this brand again-really like it.
