New Timing Belt Water Pump Tensioner Kit Fits 1998-2005 for Jetta Golf 2.0L L4 SOHC AEG AVH AZG BEV Engine

The tensioner that comes with this kit looks correct, however there are supposed to be two holes for the tensioner tool to properly tension the belt, but there are not, there are only "dimples" where the holes should be. I drilled holes where the dimples are located so I could tension the belt properly

The water pump is leaking already less then a year. The time belt is okay.

On my car I have a code for crankshaft and camshaft correlations so previous owner change the sensors and didn’t fix the problem car still works but have the check engine light. and after I replace the belt and water pump no more check engine light

Have not installed yet but everything looks to be of good quality. Has the upgraded metal impellers for water pump instead of the stupid plastic one that comes on stock part and lead to having to replace this in first place so thats a big plus and for cheaper price.. All and all satisfied witb everything, if problems arrise when I go to install then ill update review but i see no issues coming up as of writing this review..good value for money

TIMING TENSIONER OUT OF THE BOX BAD 👎 FOUND OUT DURING INSTALL AND HAD TO PAY 100$ FROM THE DEALERSHIP FOR JUST THE TENSIONER HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED WANT MY MONEY BACK! A PART LIKE THIS SHOULD HAVE VARIOUS QUALITY CONTROL CHECKS REGARDLESS OF THE PRICE!

After a month of the installation, theWater pump started to leak. Too bad that I can’t returned.
