We are not selling only brush via Amazon. Brush with alluminium plate is only offered as DOOR SEAL

Q: can you suggest how to use it for less wide doors? Can it be cut, will it result into loosening of brush?

Yes it can be cut by normal hacksaw blade. Few brush may loose from the area of cutting. But rest of brush will remain unaffected. Each door seal brush is packed with a instruction manual of 'How to install'

Q: Is it suitable for sliding doors ?

Yes , It can be fitted on slidding doors
