Highly recommend for first time mothers. The wonders of pregnancy and fetal growth are beautifully portrayed in this edition. Our bodies do such amazing work in 9 months.

I had this book when I was pregnant with my oldest daughter. The pictures are amazing & beautiful. Now that my daughter is pregnant for the first time, I bought it for her. She loves it like I did.

My mother taught me a great respect for life in the womb with this book when I was a child. So glad to have found the revised version is still in print! Now I am enjoying teaching my kids the same valued leasons with this book in our homeschooling. They love the amazing pictures and will listen captivated as I read them all the details. A treasure!

I have had a copy of this book since it was first published and it's one of my go-tos for shopping for baby showers. It's so fun to follow along and see what your baby looks like as it's developing while you're pregnant, and it's great to show older siblings what their baby brother/sister looks like - especially when you're not even showing yet. To see that already, while your stomach is still flat after just a month or so, that it's got little arms and legs is just cool. It's a great gift!

I had this book when I was pregnant and daily I would admire the amazing photographs of the stage my growing baby was in!Now my babies are expecting their own so naturally this was a must get item for them!I think it's the best book out there for parents to be:)

I love this book. I had it when I was pregnant with my first child 43 years ago. At first I couldn’t find this book so bought a different book but the pictures aren’t in color or very clear so I am sorry I bought that one. I had already ordered that one when I found this one. It is a gift for my pregnant granddaughter. I love the photos in the book and the information about the baby’s development.

I browse this book many moons ago, when I was expecting my first and only child. I'm specially fond of it. It gets reprinted, to the delight and enlightenment of every first time mother-to-be.A perfect gift for a gender reveal party!
