Taste for me is perfect, not too strong or weak. It tastes natrual and clean.Strongest Coffee I have tried also, it doesn’t have a jittery / anxiety inducing run to the toilet effect but a strong and clear caffeine kick which is perfect in the morning before intense exercise.These beans simply cannot compare to any supermarket supply nor the majority of independent coffee roasters I have tried.Will be buying again from Northern Ireland 😎👊.

Love the fact that this is biodegradable and the coffee is decent although this is a very expensive option for the number of pods you get. The pods have a slight delay from when you initiate the pour until the pod perforates. This means you can sometimes get a weak flow from the pod.I think it's difficult to justify such a high price just because the pods are biodegradable. They don't perform as well as many cheap pods and the coffee is pretty good but not AMAZING.

Upon ordering my most recent bag of Rocky Grind, Amazon showed me that I'd purchased it 22 times previously - it's been my go-to ground coffee for a good few years now, and I think that's because it's a great all-rounder.Is it strong? It certainly is, but it doesn't have the anxiety inducing, racing heartbeat effect that other 'super strong' coffees do. It's more subtle, but it will for sure wake you up.Strong though it is, the flavour is not sacrificed in any way - in fact it is the best tasting ground coffee I've ever tried, and I've tried a lot. It isn't bitter (which comes with the territory for most strong coffees), but it certainly isn't sickly sweet. It has a smooth, lightly roasted flavour... almost like the equivalent of a hearty meal that hits the spot just right.It is a tad on the expensive side, but it is very much a case of you get what you pay for. Plus, consder that you'd get about 4 takeaway coffees for the price of a bag of this, and they probably don't taste this good! Considering that a bag of this lasts me almost exactly a month (one coffee every morning, ocassionally a second one in the afternoon) that's very good value in relative terms. Plus it's fair-trade, as every coffee should be these days - it's worth remembering that the end price for the consumer isn't the be all and end all when it comes to cost.Overall I can't recommend this coffee enough - our personal tastes all vary, but you owe it to yourself to at least try it.

Brewed 2 tablespoons in coffee press so double the standard amount recommended. Despite this, the coffee still had a pleasant flavour and wasn’t too strong and wasn’t bitter. Had a great caffeine kick. Perfect for first cup of the day. Very impressed. Will buy again.

I repurchased the compostable pods several times because the coffee tastes good compared to other Nespresso-compatible pods I've tried. I normally use 2 pods at a time to get it strong enough. Unfortunately, they changed the packaging a couple of months ago. The pods used to be black and quite sturdy, now they're red and flimsy. So flimsy that 1 or 2 pods in each pack are always broken and unusable. And the coffee seems to lose its freshness faster in the new packaging. I don't think I will be repurchasing these pods, which is sad because I really liked them at first.
