Works Great
I found myself in an unusual place. We installed an elevator in our new home. But we did not have a landline telephone. Elevators—we learned—MUST have the ability to call out, in the event the elevator stops working and someone is trapped in it and does not have a cellphone. Quick fix: as long as you have good internet service, buy a MagicJack, which provides voice over the internet (VOI) calling, and uses this cable to attach your router/internet to the elevator system.

Only for phone systems! NOT an adapter or DSL to WiFi CAT6 set-up
Will not work from taking DSL RJ11 to a WiFi router CAT6 RJ45. This is likely JUST for phone system ONLY. Was not clear on item description like other products so I gave this a try.

Good idea - but causes static
I purchased several to keep the phone cords in my office from getting tangled. Unfortunately, it caused static on the line so I had to take them all out. Maybe I got a bad batch?

It worked as advertised.
Easy to install. It enhanced the wifi connection.

Works well to connect VoIP phone box to RJ45 patch panel
Got this to connect my Vonage VoIP phone adapter box to my phone distribution RJ45 patch panel. The cable is simple, just RJ11 and RJ45 plugs crimped onto a 2-pair UTP cable, no extra strain relief or anything - I could've made one like it myself, but I was feeling lazy. Works fine.

Great to connect dsl to Ethernet/dsl port on battery backup/surge protector and visa-versa.
Prior to getting these two cable it was impossible to get the dsl cable securely seated in the Ethernet/dsl port of the Panamax MB850 battery backup/surge protector. Two of these cables did the trick.
