I'll say I don't care too much about expiration dates but I still thought it was shifty that I was shipped a dye that was within 1 month of its marked expiration.

I was looking for a bluish green. I got Mermaid but it was more blue than green. I also am looking for a dye that will stick to my virgin unbleached gray hair. This dye worked better than all the other dyes I've used, but it was still pastel. It was more pigmented than Arctic Fox, Overtone, Keracolor, Colorista, and Punky Color.Update: Enchanted forest was essentially the same color, but more pigmented. I got a good blue iout of it. See comparison pic for the pigmentation difference.

I used Ultraviolet and Mermaid for this ombre - both super easy to work with, blended beautifully, and were initially very saturated. I bleached and toned to white first and left it on (plastic-wrapped) for about four hours. Mermaid stayed bright a lot longer than Ultraviolet; both stained everything else they came in contact with. I needed most of the jar of each color - both sides are shaved, but what's left is very thick and coarse. I would buy Mermaid again but not Ultraviolet based on how quickly it faded - there's not enough in there for it to be worth it.

We did light blonde first before the teal, picture makes it look darker than it actually is. Directions said, leave on for minimum of 30 minutes we did 45 minutes. I suggest for somebody looking to do more of the exact color shown for product you would need a bleached or very light blonde first.Side note- Not forgiving on skin, highly recommend applying product carefully, no one looks cute with a Blue forehead or ears.

I was a bit skeptical, because when I last used Manic Panic it was when I was in high school and it wasn’t super potent.This time I used it, I was SHOCKED. My hair is blonde (minus my shadowed roots) and the dye clung beautifully. It’s a BRIGHT green (think Sailor Neptune if you’re a weeb).I’m super happy with the result and will be purchasing again.
