I bought this polish because I wanted a black matte look with my nail dip. My goal was to put a shiny heart on top for Valentines. It worked like a charm and looks amazing. My nail guy loved the look so much he is buying some for other clients. I highly recommend this product. Also it arrived quickly.

I create my own colors when I paint my nails (you can see my palette behind my hand in the glossy photo). I have never used a matte finish but I knew I needed it for these nails. And I was right! The gloss coat still looks cute but the matte top coat looks so beautiful. I went shopping yesterday and the cashier pulled my hand to her face so fast and was so amazed by my nails. Then other employees came and crowded around just to see my nails. They were all impressed that it looked so great with the matte finish. I've been doing my own nails since May and I've never had anyone react to my nails that way. But if you mix white with a metallic gold, add the matte top coat, it really gives that cappuccino foam feel which is perfect for this weather. And don't judge my nails in the matte photo. I took this picture 2 days after I used the top coat once and 6 days after doing my nails completely. Oh and I thought a matte top coat would have left a chalky, dry feeling on my nails but it's just as smooth, if not smoother than a glossy top coat.I will be purchasing this polish and other items from this brand. VERY IMPRESSED!

I will be purchasing the regular gel top coat ASAP. I’ve done all sorts of at home manicures from dip powder to regular polish and this top coat has blown me away the most of any new product I’ve ever tried. Easy application, thick polish (but not too thick) and a decent brush shape. The matte finish is beautiful but there are two things I’m most impressed with:1. The wear time. WOW. I’m a dentist so I use my hands CONSTANTLY and am absolutely brutal on a manicure. The second picture is of a nude mani a full week later. No signs of wear and for me that’s absolutely insane for both a professional or home manicure.2. How easy it came off!!! Can’t stress this enough especially after using dip powder systems for a while. I wrapped a small piece of acetone soaked cotton in tin foil and left them in place for 60 seconds and BAM. Already peeling off 🤯🤯. Only disclaimer is that I do use regular polish underneath so I know this made it easier to remove. But still. To last as long as it does and also come off so easy feel like black magic (Sorry Jesus??)Overall I wish I could either rate this higher or pay more for the product. It’s so good I feel like I’m stealing.

This product is overall good for the price, it is easy to apply and looks cute. However, it started to chip within 2 weeks of applying it.

I got a Beetles brand gel nail set for Christmas last year and was so impressed at the quality of the gel that I've been buying more Beetles items. This matte top coat was something I had on my wishlist for a while and when I finally tried it, I was IN LOVE! It was super easy to put on and worked perfectly, my nails looked great!The only issue I had was that the matte top coat picked up scuffs much more easily than the classic glossy top coat. However, I'm not sure if this was my fault or the product's, so I'm keeping the five stars! Definitely recommended!

I rarely use the matte top coat. It cures but it’s still very sticky. I ended up having to wipe it with alcohol when I was done.
