It claims it's water proof , it is as water proof as a roll of paper towels. Looks great and if looking for looks it's fine but it you have a cloth seat on your bike and put this on, get ready to ride with a wet butt!

Terrible product. I have carefully read the instructions several times but no matter what I do, it will not stay on the passenger seat. While going down the road that part covering the passenger seat will come off and start slapping me in the shoulders.
