I use Mucinex even for a cold or a sore throat. I use it if my nose gets runny (yuck). Overall, I can't say enough nice things about it. It works and makes me feel better. Last January I had pneumonia. I had an antibiotic but I used Mucinex, too. I was very weak for a long time, but Mucinex worked wonders on me, broke up the awful cough. As you can tell, I really like it. I always keep a supply in the house just in case I will need it.
