Works as expected
Went on a 1,000 mile, 7 day trip with a 750lb motorcycle on the back. Motorcycle's rear tire sat on the tailgate the entire time. If the cables failed, it would have put me in a very bad situation.I intend to carry my bike across the United States in places where a trailer would just not be practical. I will repeatedly load and unload the motorcycle. so these bars are a must.Last but not least, on the 2019+ Ram 1500, the bars cancel the "Tailgate Open" warning light on the instrument cluster. The vehicle's computer seems to believe the tailgate is closed when using the bars which is a plus.

Bought for my 19 Ram 1500 to support my tailgate for my Can Am Outlander 650 Max XT touring. Great fit and I don’t have to worry about the tailgate cables breaking.

I carry around a heavy machine in my truck and was worried about the cables for the tailgate breaking. These support bars fixed the problem, they take the weight off the cables.
