2010 Cadillac SRX, Movies on the Road.
I used this on my 2010 Cadillac SRX. Works great, I can now watch movies on the road. Note, it is a tight, tight, tight fit when installing in this model vehicle. Also, you will have to take 3/4 of the dash apart to remove the radio to install.

Does what it's supposed to but it's not perfect
Maybe it's due to the electronics of the vehicle, rather than a flaw in the design of this module, but while you can enter the navigation directions while the truck is moving when you activate this device, i found that you then have to deactivate it right afterwards otherwise the navigation doesn't work correctly. The map freezes on screen and you don't get turn by turn instructions. However just as soon as you deactivate the device the navigation does start working again with the directions that you had entered while the device was active.

A W E S O M E!!!
This module fixed almost everything I didn't like about my 2011 Buick Regal's Infotainment System. Who wants to pull over every time they need to look up a new address for the GPS? Not me! It would be even better if they would incorporate a CTRL-ALT-DEL type feature, but I can force reboot by popping out the fuse.Installation was easy (for me as an advanced user). Some things you want to know about the Regal:-Everything can be done from the passenger's seat-pry off the wood grain pieces first... be careful not to break them-The screen hooks into a spring loaded snapping device at the top/behind the keypad. This is tricky to remove and trickier to reinstall. Maneuver your face and a flashlight to get a good look at it before you pull it apart.-There is plenty of room behind the stereo for this huge model. I initially planned to mount it in the glove box but I was happy there was space.-TEST DRIVE IT BEFORE YOU REASSEMBLE THE DASH. You'll have to get it up to about 15mph to see if the overrides work correctly.-Be careful with the snap connectors on the back of the computer. One of them is very fragile while the others work easy enough to not worry about. If you are having difficulty removing one, it's the fragile one. The huge 40 pin connector has a swing locking mechanism, there's no need to force it in or out, just force the handle up or down and it will pop out and lock in.[...]

Works perfectly. Exactly as advertised in a 2012 Buick LaCrosse.

Does what it says with ome limitations
I purchsed and installed the unit myself in my 2012 Buick LaCrosse in just under 1.5 hours. The hardest part was figuring out how to disassemble my car. Connections and splicing really took on about 15 minutes. The box and remote pin connector are hard plastic and I worried about them knocking around in the quiet dash so I wrapped then in packing foam for good measure. It works as describes but since you break into the vehicle speed sensor, you can't run navigation in the background while you are playing a DVD. Either know where you are going or get your beaeungs for a long enough stretch before starting it. ONce you cancel out of the lockpik, the display and nav return immediately to normal without issues.
