Nice scale tank
The media could not be loaded. It's a fun tank. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out you can battle other tanks with IR. Now I have to get another tank to battle my grandson. Shipping was super fast, I would definitely buy from Toucan hobby again. Remote is a little cheap, but it works fine.

Does not come with a battery charger
This was a birthday gift for my son, the battery shipped separate, so he was bummed when the tank arrived and he had to look at it for 2 days till the battery arrived. It did not come with a battery charger, thankfully because we have lots of RC car stuff we had a charger that worked. He loves the tank now that he can play with it, seem to work well, it is pretty cool in my opinion.

Just plain awesome!
Now I'm not the best at reviewing a product, so forgive me for any confusion/inconsistencies.Here's what I like/love about it: 1) The metal suspension arms are a fantastic bonus feature I thought was not included for this version. 2) Despite being 1/16 scale, it's a behemoth of a model and I dig that. 3) The supplied battery lasts about long enough to be a winner. 4) This might sound obvious, but I love how the tracks are driven by an accurate sprocket, albeit with a guide in the middle to help prevent throwing the track. Now on to what I don't like about it: About the only thing wrong with it is the location of the power switch almost directly under the turret. Other than that, this is a solid model with plenty to offer. 4.7 out of 5 in my books and a definite must-buy!

Happy at first! Then very sad....
I received this unit in good shape, packaging was sound. Spent an hour or so attaching the details (crew tools, tow cables, and other "decorations"). It looks great! First use the smoker puffed out of one exhaust for about 5 seconds then stopped. Refilled with oil, nothing. Run for 5 minutes, nothing although you can hear the pump piston. The heating element seems to have burnt out almost immediately. I was willing to let that slide as the smoke aspect wasn't a deal breaker for me. On the second day of use, the turret stopped turning, and just clicked like the clutch wouldn't disengage. At this point, I clicked the RETURN button on Amazon and received instructions for sending it back very quickly. I'm going to try one more Heng Long tank before I write them off for good. I've got a Tiger I coming with the metal upgrades already installed. Time will tell....

2.4ghz is a must.
My first 2.4ghz radio controlled tank and what a world of difference it makes compare to the old radio antenna remote controls. The tank responds very nicely compare to some of the other Heng Long tanks I own that don't come with the 2.4ghz radio. So far it hasn't lagged or become buggy after 20 mins of play which is great. I would highly recommend getting the 2.4ghz radio over the stock ones some of the other Heng Long tanks come with. As for the tank it self, it is very nicely detailed and even comes it some accessories that will make it look like the real thing. Fun tank to drive around the house or play outside on the short grass lawn.

This is a large tank
This thing is awsome! I'm new to radio control tanks but this tank is easy to learn/run. It looks so good and the addition of the small articles really rounds it out. HOWEVER you have to refer to the "instructions" and the box to see where to place the decals and the instructions, though good for a laugh, are somewhat difficult to follow. I got this one because it had the softer tread and won't mark up the hardwood floors thus sparing me a beating with the tank by my wife.

Well, it worked for 8 minutes.
This tank was cool for a short time. My son charged and assembled it, put it together, and drive it around for a few minutes. He turned it off and then it never turned on again, despite charging again. Still awaiting seller suggestions/troubleshooting. Will update after solutions have been reached. For now, it’s a really expensive doorstop.
