CALBEAU 4 Way Manifold Gauge Set, Fits R134A/R410A/R404A and R22 Refrigerants, Household Air Conditioning Repair Kit for Freon Charging and Vacuum Pump Evacuation

Spent 2 days trying to figure out why refrigerant wasn't passing thru when recharging my system. the port connector to the low port (blue)needs to be screwed to the right for refrigerant to charge!!!! I thought it closes the flow but apparently its the opposite. Screw to the right to tighten and it opens the valve to charge the system. Same for the high side port although this one is not suppose to be open because you dont charge through the high side(red)...just 2 cents no matter what you read or hear anywhere DO NOT CHARGE YOUR AC THRU THE HIGH side PORT (red) !!Besides this, the hoses are good quality and came crimped good. The high side red knob on the main board is already loose and I've only used it once. It doesn't seem to affect its ability to screw and loosen but eventually it looks like the knob will come off from its place.

First thing I noticed was that the gauge temperature scales were in center great, not Fahrenheit. I decided I could overlook this because I don't read the temperature right off the gauge anyway. Another thing I noticed is that the temperature for R410A was written so small it was impossible to read.The straw that broke the camels back was discovered as soon as I connected it to the air-conditioning unit. Both the high and low pressure hoses leaked like sieves. I discovered that none of the hoses that came with it have rubber gaskets in the ends of the quarter inch fittings. No amount of tightening would stop the leak.Needless to say I am sending it back for refund.

I got the chance to try using this in tech school today for the first time, the instructor helped me set it up, the blue hose began leaking at the crimp connection on the angled connector. I am seeing about sending these back for a refund because i found the same gauges for $27, which is less than a paid for this set that does not work. Also the yellow knob cane dented

I received a package quicker than I expected open the package and parts on the inside where in disarrayAfter a careful inventory the contents It seems that All the parts were there. I have yet to use the item but I’m happy with what I see

works and functions as described, I have used it several times now without issue. would recomend to anyone.Very good price and good quality, the unit support most AC units including car AC units.

NIce set for the price. Many refrigerator type 134A systems operate at less than 20 psi on the low pressure side, so the gage is hard to read accurately in this small range since it is scaled to go up to 500psi.

The values for the 410A were totally off but I didn't know until I almost blew the new system I installed for my handicapped In-Laws apart by way over charging. Fortunately I found found a very respectable and fair HVAC service company to set things right for a very reasonable price. It was their Tech that looked at my gauges and freaked out, then showed me his Real set used by Professionals.

this gauge set is very well made .i have been in air condition trade over 30 years .these gauges are better than the top of the line gauges i have now .cant get over how well there made.
