For the price, these are better than you’d expect. They are not a precision instrument. But they can be useful for everyday leveling of camera mounts, tables and work benches, process equipment, etc.The green background color makes it easy to see the bubble.

I glued magnets to the bottom of these so they stick to a knife or chisel using paper wheels for sharpening. These ensure I hold the metal flat, square and level with the wheel at the right height to get the bevel angle needed and not canted or other problems. These combined with little marks to line up with make paper wheel sharpening even faster and easier for a beginner.The circles showing degrees off level is a great detail, especially when you need to get just a couple degrees to change on some adjustments, much better than a blank circular level with only the center ring to reference against and no idea how far half a bubble is.

Attached a magnet to the adhesive side, which I can attached to a saw blade to score a line around a tree that is orthogonal to the pull of gravity. Or attach to the chainsaw bar (or glue to the body) to make sure the cut is flat, even if the terrain is not. This is, for me, difficult to do without a level and quite important when cutting down a larger tree. Would be a 5 star if the bubble was more readily visible - perhaps a darker tint in the liquid would help. It's good though.

Liquid fades to clear in sunlight. Harder to see.

Stick them anywhere and they give a good picture ofwhere your level is at. Nice Inexpensive and they actually work

Handy to have several to leave in various tool kits. They seem to be as accurate as other larger levels I have.
