Red Carpet Studios 41051 Birdie in The Woods, Long Face Hank Birdhouse

I hung this "sculpture" on a big oak tree. It is a great conversation piece. The quality seems very good. It has been out in the hot weather for about 2 months and is still holding its color. The detail is really good. My husband wanted to hang it at the back door, because the detail is good enough to view up close. We have forgotten that it is supposed to be a bird house. I haven't actually noticed any birds making nests in it, but it is the perfect bluebird size hole for nests. I liked mine so much that I sent one as a gift and got a wonderful response.

He looks great at eye level--we hung him on the trunk of a tree in our small garden! His coloring is such that the look is subtle against the tree trunk--which is what I like! He seems to be very sturdy, but we secured him with a hefty screw to keep him in place, and we will most likely take him down as winter approaches, as strong winds and rains are common, especially in this area of our garden. We are very pleased!

This little guy is such a treat to look at. He was very easy to hang and looks really nice up in the tree. The only thing is I think the opening, (His Mouth), may be a bit small for the birds. I have had many types of birds come by and check him out knowing they want to take up residence...I mean how cool would that be to have a house that looks like a face?...Anyways...back to what I was saying....The Wrens are especially curious about this guy, but never move in. They land beside him and hop all around but that’s it. All in all I guess it’s just a joy to see the birds trying to figure him out. I would definitely buy again. Who knows... maybe a humming bird or some bats might move in... Time will only tell:)

The mouth is REALLY small so i guess a finch or sparrow could use it.Certainly not a Cardinal,Blue Jay or any other type of bird that has a little size to him.Also,it's more like a tan color so it really doesn't "blend in" with the tree base.On the back side,it has a 2 1/2 X 4 inch (approx. I didn't measure it) opening on upper part of head that can be used to clean it out.It's very sturdy so it should last quite a while.Package delivered on time and was well presented.

Loved these faces. I did drill a hole near the mouth an added a small twig so the Birds have a perch. I also drilled a hole side back of each face and hung them using a wire to tie around my aspen trees..lastly I put a white wash of paint over them to blend them in so they looked like part of the tree. Very cool. I have already seen my first bird checking them out.

I bought several of each and put one in between each lattice I nailed to my wooden fence. It looks adorable. They have been there for over two years in direct sun, wind and rain. Still look great.

absolutely adorable!! Such and easy little birdhouse to hang and enjoy.. The hole is small and just perfect for the dapper little wrens that come to visit.. I have ton's of finches and cardnals and houses to fit them but the wren's like a small opening and this fits the bill perfectly.. love it.. off to buy the mate to it now. :)
