Safariland 7377 7TS ALS Concealment Belt Slide Holster for Glock 19/23 with 4" Barrel Right Hand Plain Black Finish

This just arrived yesterday. I fitted the holster onto standard leather concealed carry gun belt at the 3 o'clock position with the provided belt loops. It fit snug, tight, and close to the hip just as it should for a low print. No juggling around. My Glock 19 Gen 5 with Trijicon HD XR sights fit like a glove right out of the box, no retention adjustments were needed. The ALS release is easy to operate when drawing (with the thumb in the high position). No more effort than the standard kydex holster I was using. The pistol easily slid right out with no tension for an easy draw. Reholstering was easy and clicked right in as advertised. The plastic also does not scratch. I practiced drawing about 50 times with no problem. When locked it is impossible to pull the pistol out. I was a bit skeptical about the plastic design but it is a solid high-quality product. I will be using this in a tactical course this weekend and we will see how it holds up but I am confident it will be fine.

This is only my second holster purchase, so take it for what it's worth.My first holster was leather and used friction retention. Although that holster had a number of things I liked about it, even after a few days for breaking in, I just couldn't make it suitable for concealed carry.This Safariland OWB holster is perfect for me and exactly what I was looking for. I plan on using it for my EDC, especially in the coming fall and winter.The holster sits comfortably at the 3 o'clock position. My Glock 19 fits very well, slides in and clicks into place. The retention is excellent. Without pressing the thumb release, the gun will not come out. The retention release is also excellent. Your thumb naturally presses the release tab when you grab the gun, and your draw is smother and quick.The cant of the holster can be adjusted to three possible positions, angled slightly forward, slightly back, and neutral. With this holster my preference is neutral.As I understand it, Safariland has a number of options for holsters, and I look forward to exploring them.In my opinion this is a great holster and a great value. I recommend it.

This holster was shipped and arrived quickly. I am so happy with the ALS. The Amazon page explains it quite well. Activate the release and the gun comes out. It works every time and it's reliable. The nylon material the holster is made of seems to work very well and hasn't harmed my Glocks. Works perfectly for my G44, G45 and G19. I love that the trigger guard is completely covered by a hard material. Nobody is getting to the trigger when the gun is holstered. This holster is new to me so maybe I'll get accustomed to the belt loops but I don't dig them. The front one seems okay and there is enough room to run your belt through it. The rear one is no so easy. You can get your belt through but it's not as easy and it is so that the holster interferes with it. Not great in my opinion but not a deal breaker. I love the holster overall and would buy Safariland again. I bought two, one for my wife and one for me. I thought the price was very reasonable too. I highly recommend it.

Used with a Glock 19 Gen 5 MOS without Red Dot. This holster can not be used with a red dot, but for my current use that is ok. It took a little time to get used to the ALS locking feature. But was able to practice drawing and works very well. Gun is secure in this holster. Minor wear marks at front of slide. I have done thousands of draws by dryfire practice and wear like this is normal. Highly recommend if you are looking for OWB.

Excellent product, very good quality material and I love the retention system. It is very comfortable for drawing, my weapon fits very well and is safe. The product is highly recommended.

This is a great holster if you need something for range use. High quality and great retention. My biggest gripe is the belt loop. It has to be one of the dumbest designed features of the holster. It is completely flat so it doesn’t fit comfortable on the hip and will contort your belt awkwardly. If you plan on switching to a mid rife drop leg belt loop attachment then get it. If not get the belt clip or paddle style that Safariland also offers.

Far better than my BlackHawk Serpas. Those get a bad rap but mine don't have the release anywhere near the trigger, but on the slide. This one has a thumb release so no chance of a negligent discharge (ND). Great holster. A bit pricy but to be expected. I'd buy one for each of my guns that don't already have a retention holster. Most of the big-name tactical schools recommend this one and ban the Serpa...so I bought one to make sure I didn't have a problem when I go to training. Also, bet the belt-loop model, NOT the paddle holster. Yes it costs a bit more but it's worth it and most trainers also don't recommend paddles (although I use a lot of them in EDC). Even the manufacturers don't recommend the paddles they sell. ;)

Very satisfying audible click when your pistol goes in. Thumb retention is very easy and fast to access in natural position that you reach for the pistol with. Fits on belt great with the quick latch system and easy to swap to other belts using the safariland system. fits perfect with the correct pistol and doesn't scratch or effect the finish of pistol
