Nice 2nd Monitor for laptops
I had one of these for awhile and I dropped a hard drive on it and broke the LCD screen. I then ordered a new one and after a few months it developed a black spot at the bottom of the screen. I reached out to the support email address on the sticker because it is still under a warranty but no one responds. Since support does not respond I would get on from reliable company.5/11/2025 Update:After I posted the bad 2 Star review above, support reach out to me and gave me two options (Full Refund or Replacement). I chose replacement and they shipped me a new one. It took five days from the time they said it shipped to the day it was delivered. Support apologized and said they were behind due to the May Day holiday in China. Other than the issue stated above the monitor works great and I use it frequently. I increased the star rating from 2 to 5.

Great portable screen
What a awesome screen to have. Always need a second screen for my laptop and when traveling it is really handy. You can also plug your phone in and watch movies. If you have a samsung you can use dex and just as good as a laptop. It can run on a power bank. Comes with the stand and cables for power, phone and mini hdmi to hdmi. If you travel and always on the move I will definitely recommend this screen.

Fantastic video quality, great for laptops or Switch, but lacks audio output, has awful interface.
For the price, this thing is unbeatable. Good physical design, fantastic picture quality for the price, a lot of options (including HDR), and legit portability. It's particularly good if you plan on using it with a Nintendo Switch. Overall, it checks almost all the right boxes, but with a few notable caveats. The picture quality is surprisingly good. Once properly adjusted, the monitor is bright with good contrast, and doesn't look washed out. It also has a surprisingly broad viewing angle It's not going to win any awards, but it easily beats many full-sized monitors in the same price range. The HDR is surprisingly decent: it's pretty hard to get good HDR on ANY monitors in this price range, but this one somehow pulls it off. Again, it's not going to win any awards, but the fact that it has it at all is pretty cool. If the picture quality doesn't immediately meet your expectations, there are plenty of options tweak to your hearts content. However, those options are where its biggest problems lie, which I'll get into shortly. In terms of design, the portfolio-style cover/stand is a handsome dark granite grey with contrasting stitching, which looks great. However, unlike most portable monitors, it lacks any sort of magnet, clip, or elastic band to keep the portfolio closed when not in use. Not a deal-breaker, but noticeable if this isn't your first portable monitor. That said, the monitor and portfolio are very thin, which makes it easy to slip this into a small backpack, or anywhere else a thin 15.6" laptop would fit.The monitor can powered with its included power cable or via USB, which means it can be powered by your laptop, game console, or Nintendo Switch dock. It can display video through both HDMI or USB-C sources. For Switch users, you can plug the monitor directly into the USB-C port on the bottom of the console to simultaneously display video and charge the Switch, which is a nice perk (you'll still need a power source for the monitor itself, obviously). In terms of being a portable monitor, it does everything it's supposed to, and thensome. The back panel of the monitor itself is a cool brushed metal, while the rest of the monitor is cased in the usual plastic. The built-in speakers are decent for what they are; not very loud and obviously lacks anything but treble, but relatively clear and not as tinny as most portable monitor speakers.Unfortunately, this is where its first problem shows up: there's no 3.5mm RCA output. Most monitor makers are aware that their built-in speakers are budget-bin quality and used as a last resort, so they give you a 3.5mm jack to output to speakers with more oomph, but this monitor lacks that. For Switch and PC users, this might not be a problem, but for PS4 users, this is something to note, as the PS4 console only outputs audio through either HDMI or Optical SPDIF (its even refuses to connect to Bluetooth speakers). If you were planning to use an analog 2.1 speaker set with this, you'll need to plug it into your controller, which is awkward. Not a deal-breaker for most people, but definitely a problem for me. Considering that cheaper portable monitors have 3.5mm audio jacks, this omission is odd. Finally, we reach the big problem that'll affect nearly everyone: the menu interface. This is possibly the worst I've used. The menu controls boil down to just three buttons: a Menu button that doubles as an "enter" button, a Left button, and a Right button that doubles as an "exit" button. The first problem: the Left and Right buttons are REVERSED. This means if you want to go left, you press the Right button; to go right, you press the Left button. Considering that all menus and adjustments are arranged horizontally, this makes menu navigation and adjustment more confusing than it needs to be.Second, to back out from menus, you long-press the Right button, which becomes problematic when adjusting settings. You can hold down the Left button to quickly adjust settings in that direction, but holding down the Right button will kick you out of the menu and CANCEL your adjustments, forcing you to start over. Imagine trying to adjust the volume on your TV. Here, you're capable of increasing the volume very quickly by holding the up button, but to lower the volume, you can only tap the down button repeatedly, and if you accidentally hold it too long, it'll kick you out of the Volume menu and then RESET the volume. Now imagine having to do that for dozens of menus and submenus. Once again, it's needlessly wonky. One last problem is the coloring of the menu options. In cases where you only have two options, the options are identified with contrasting colors, but which color is "on" and which is "off?" It's not immediately apparent. You'd have to find another menu that has multiple options to figure out what you should be looking for, which isn't fun when your lefts and rights are reversed and accidentally holding a button kicks you out of the menus entirely. All that said, you'd (ideally) only really need to adjust the settings once, and the lack of a 3.5mm RCA jack isn't going to keep most people up at night, so those problems are somewhat superfluous in comparison to its positives. For a compact, well-built portable monitor with excellent picture quality and solid synergy with laptops and Nintendo Switches, this is hard to top.

Customer Service Team is A+
Great little portable monitor! The customer service team is seriously the best in the business! I have never worked with a more communicative, helpful team. That alone is worth the purchase. I was having some issues with mine due to a new laptop and the monitor not syncing correctly and they helped me every step of the way, even offering to replace it with a new one at no charge if I continued to have the issues. They were able to get it up and running again. Amazing! Will purchase from them again!

2 FAILURES. THE QUALITY CONTROL IS SUSPECT! Buyer Beware.
The media could not be loaded. Lets start out by saying, this is the cheapest USB-C portable monitor on amazon. There has to be a reason for that. This unit is a clone of many chinese produced monitors with the pen stand hole at the bottom. Its also the cheapest one. Im not sure if quality control is an issue or if they are selling manufacturer defect items at a cheaper cost. I heard the manufacturer of this monitor also makes the ASUS portable monitors however that leads me to feel like these must be reject quality because in my experience so far, this brand has let me down more than once.I bought 1 of these and the backlight failed within 24hrs. I filed a return with amazon and they promptly sent me out another as an exchange. This other one works great. Has a better image quality than the last and the screen is brighter... Weird that it could vary between the same model but it did. However at closer inspection I noticed the left side of the screen had banding artifacts on elements with different levels of contrast. Mind you, this is 3 minutes into use that I notice this. I know I could likely fix this issue if I was willing to open the device but I cant return it if I do. Now I need to return this as well but I think I might need to just get a refund. Im not sure if it will even last 1 trip. The issue im having doesnt break my experience but you want something that isnt limping from the first use! Next drama was, after I got my replacement I see the price on this product has reduced by $40 USD. Man this seems suspect to me, like they just need to get rid of the stock of these items ASAP as it seems they have some new models.Im typing the review for this product on the product itself, just so I can say I used it for something. The screen is beautiful when it works and slightly brighter than my laptops default screen. If you get lucky, Im sure youll be happy until it breaks. The build quality is soooooooooooooooooooooooo bad. For the 160 USD I paid for this, I feel like its worth 99 at best. At 160, I might as well get an ASUS or Viewsonic.Im mad because the panel is the badass, colors pop and contrast ratio is superb and the slim profile make this the perfect screen for mounting or slipping into a bag for a portable triple monitor setup.Cant recommend this product but I'm left sad. Ill upload some pictures to show the issues with the first and second model I recieved. The video shows how the backlight just failed but the monitor still works.EDIT: After closer inspection, I can see that both monitors I recieved indeed have different panels. The first one had a matte screen that died, and the second screen had a gloss screen thats brighter and has better image quality.
