It has a weight to it. It’s stainless steel, I have mine for couple months now and it’s working good.

The construction is thick and heavy.

The twitch pliars themselves are too thick and solid to fail. They are sturdy and do just as they are supposed to. I used them this past weekend in January '21 to casturate, tag and vaccinate a group of 400lb calves. They work as they are supposed to but the chain and the little flimsy ring on the end are of the typical Chinese quality you would expect. The ring broke immediatly when it was hung up on the chute while holding a calfs head up. The chain has held up while securing pliars shut but it is of the same thickness and quality you would use to tie your chihuahua to the front steps to go out and use the bathroom. Pliars themselves = GoodChain and ring = a step above lego plastic.

chain is way under sized and came apart first time I tried to use it. Had to makeshift our own chain. Would not recommend this product.

works great with the new chain link lock feature, however when the loop is tied to head gate the link comes off of the link lock and can come loose.

The ring at the end of the chain came off with one good pull by my mini zebu bull. The rest of the product seems to be good quality and did the job for the cow. The bull is too stubborn and still wouldn’t move but the product didn’t fail.

The ring broke on the first use. Waste of money.
