The statue details are wonderful and the image is not disfigured in any way. The resin is durable and--I have learned from other resin statues--that you can spray paint them with metallic paint if you think they have gotten too faded or dull. This is a great value. I highly recommend it.

You may have to drill a hole on the bottom if you want to fill with sand or concrete, because there is no opening on the bottom to do so. It has an okay weight to it but I had to really dig it into the dirt and secure it with mulch to be sure it stays put.Having said all that it really is a beautiful statue. The detail is lovely. And it has a finish on it to create depth and shadow, but in order to keep the finish safe (if you are using this outdoor) it suggests on the tag that you buy an outdoor clear paint spray to cover and protect the finish. Which I did and it looks great.I give it 5 stars for design, size, and detail4 stars for weight and the fact you'll need to continually maintain the finish with clear coat

New to this weather. Will see how it holds up. High winds do blow it over in garden bed. My old one was larger and navigated winds better. Gave it away when I moved.

When you get the statue you would think it is to small but it is the right size for your floral garden. I am going to paint my statue white.

I gave this statue as a gift to my husband and it lasted exactly 24 hours. Our two-year-old pushed it over and it cracked apart, revealing that it is an extremely lightweight, hollow statue whose shell exterior is so thin that there is not even enough surface area for me to try to use Super Glue to put it back together. It was so beautiful and I'm simply disappointed at how thin and delicate it is. If you have no children or pets, then it is probably fine, but otherwise, be forewarned that you may want to purchase a sturdier statue.

I made it a point to write a review of this statue because the person before me called it a dollar store statue. I normally read reviews on Amazon and decide through them if I should get the item or not. This time, however, it was different because I promised someone that I would buy a statue of Saint Joseph through Amazon.com using my gift card. There was no other outdoor statue listed on Amazon except this one! But alas, it had a terrible review, which I ALMOST listened to. But after careful consideration and an email from Christmas Central telling me how well made this statue was, I bought it. I am so glad I did because it has to be one of the most beautiful statues of Saint Joseph I have seen. It is gorgeous! It is of course hollow inside, it would cost a fortune to ship if it wasn't! It can be filled with concrete or sand to be weighed down like most outdoor statues. It will find a very special place in my Mary Garden.

I bought this St Joseph before (2013 I think) and loved it so much I just bought another one! The first one was in the yard. this one is inside the house.
