Belle Baby Carrier Cappuccino (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

My baby was in this a few times. I really did want to like this product a lot and I did get compliments on it, but it just wasn't that practical. I remember when I was looking for reviews of this and there were shots of celebrities using the belle with their babies. They and this product made baby wearing look very beautiful! I don't even remember why I stopped using this-- I just found that the moby and the ergo worked better for us. Also, I went to a baby class where there was a talk/presentation on many of the different carriers, and the woman giving the presentation (not a dr. or nurse, just an experienced momma) said it was too narrow at the baby's crotch and maybe not good for the baby's spine for long periods of time. I don't know if that's true, but I know I had better peace of mind when I carried my baby in the ergo. Because of that I couldn't really recommend this to anyone and I didn't give it away like I did a lot of the stuff my baby outgrew.

I have had this carrier for about a month and it has been great. For the most part my hips seem to support most of the weight, which helps in alleviating those backaches. I can usually take a nice long neighborhood walk with it just fine and I am small (5'2") and my baby is about 16 lbs. My little guy loves it too. He actually gets excited when he see me put it on! I have only used it as a frontways carrier because he doesn't look to only look at mom! It is very easy to put on and to take him out once he has fallen asleep in it. The mesh is nice in the front and dries quickly, which is great for my little drooling teether. I highly recommend this carrier.
