INSTALLED ON AN ONAN MICROLITE 4000 1995-1998 IT STARTED UP AND SMOKED FOR 10 MINUTES THEN CLEARED UP. IT HAD NOT RUN FOR YEARS AT SAME TIME INSTALLED A NEW ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP.SO WILL SEE IF IT WORKS LONG TERM.EASY TO INSTALL AND FIT JUST LIKE ORIGINAL.

The carburetor worked the first time after the installation. A little tricky to install, but with the help of a friend all went well. If you need a carb for you generator, I would highly recommend this one.

It works, which is apparently more than other similar carbbies for the Onan do, according to the reviews.One star deduction because the gasket that goes onto the air filter housing does not fit my Onan 4000, not even close. Way too small.

After installing could not adjust, would not run.

I installed the new carburetor on my Onan generator. The gaskets were very poor quality and easily tore. There were no directions as to what some of the parts were for. It leaked gas as soon as I started the gen on so I had to turn it back off. Some of the internal parts in the bowl were very poor quality. The jet fitting snapped off when I tightened it. I got what I paid for. I do not recommend buying this unless your unable to buy the high dollar Cummings brand. I ended up running my old carburetor through an ultrasonic cleaner and re installing it after clean and dry. That worked.

This carburetor turned out to be just as described. Price was great and it installed pretty easily. I wish that they would sell a gasket kit by itself for replacing old carburetor which I cleaned and am keeping for a spare.
