24 Jumbo Hybrid Willow Tree Cuttings - Approx 10 inches Tall, 5/8 in- 1+ Inch Thick Root Stock - Fast Privacy Shade Trees - Easy to Grow

First picture are 24 jumbo cuttings which arrived with budding shoots. This gave me the confidence to order an additional 24 jumbo cuttings in the 2nd picture for rapid privacy, in addition to 100 pencil width cuttings for extended privacy along our entire property line.The first picture were treated with clonex gel and started in regular water. The second set were untreated and placed in water with clonex solution, at which time the 1st set were topped off with clonex solution water.The pencil cuttings arrived at the same time as the second photo, but in only two bundles, each with some mildew. All were treated with peroxide, then placed in water with clonex solution. Later, more than half had to be trimmed. At that time they were treated with clonex gel and placed in fresh water with clonex solution. The final photo shows root and shoot development of most severely trimmed cuttings, losing ⅓ to ⅔ length.My expectation was that green twigs would root and shoot even better than the woody jumbo cuttings, but that has not been the case. Hopefully they make it and i will have a positive update.

Most of them are growing

The media could not be loaded. So far so good! They are growing even faster than the description said. I literally just place them in a bucket of water outside and waited. I’ve included photos at 3 days and 5 days after placing in water, and the video is only 10 days after placing them in water!I transplanted 5 to pots around day 7 and they don’t look as healthy as the day 10 ones that are still in water but admittedly, I haven’t watered them since planting. These really aren’t made to live in pots but I have full confidence that the others that I plant to plant in ground will thrive in my wet soil.

After rooting them as instructed I planted and watered as instructed all 80 did not grow

Bought about 2 years ago, good size branches, placed in water, and approximately 90% root germination, was pleased, planted, only and only two survived, still growing-slow growth, approximately about 3 to 4 feet tall currently, no prominent foliage, just height, only, will re-order again, and try again, will test half by planting directly into ground, and the other half place in water for root generation prior to placing. * crossing fingers

I received these not long ago and put them in containers for now because it's still too cold to plant anything yet. These cuttings are already rooting and sprouting. I'm ordering more.
