Much better than expected. Works great!
We had a real Garden Way Cart when I was growing up back in the 80’s, which I loved!…and this isn’t that, but it’s close enough that I’m happy with it. The main difference is the thickness of the pipes. But these wheels alone are worth the price (believe me, I searched everywhere for similar wheels so I could make my own cart…when you factor in shipping, this cart is the best deal out there).People have complained in the reviews, but if you can still find it for sale here, it really does do the job, and mine has held up great after 6 months in the sun and rain with zero problems. (I know, I should shelter it when not in use, but it does indicate its durability). One tiny frustration was that it was a little hard to assemble (it seemed that the holes weren’t drilled in the right places), but luckily I didn’t tighten any of the bolts until the very end, and since there was some wiggle room everything ended up fitting perfectly.A larger frustration was with the dump gate (or whatever it’s called)…it was way too tight to slide in. So I applied some ingenuity and decided to pull off the aluminum edges (using pliers to pull, and a knife to cut through what felt like hot-melt glue), and once they came off they slid in like a dream! The gate on the old garden way cart was my favorite part of that thing, and that’s something that would be hard to beat. The sliding gate on this one is a far cry from the genius of that hinged one, but again, this still works fine (I mean after I removed those stupid siding pieces)! And my plan is to make some little improvements to this gate, to be as nice as the one I remember from my childhood. (P.S. it’s great for bringing the kids on rides!)As of this writing it’s not available on Amazon, but as soon as it is again I’m buying a second one!

Misaligned assemply holes do not match!
Beware: be prepared to drill new holes and be extremely frustrated.! Assembly takes at least two people for the job. WORST ISSUE: Too many of the pre-drilled holes were misaligned AND the ground / foot bracket that rests on the ground was at least one inch off ( see attached photo)! Totally unacceptable. Printed directions were not user friendly, possibly inadequate number of screws with proper length included ( not one extra piece). Even someone familiar with putting together such an item would have trouble. To return it after assembled? After putting in more than an hour into assembly, not yet considered… but if we cannot find additional screws that will work, it will be considered. VERY DISAAPOINTED in assembly engineering.

Very hard to assemble
I'm giving this a two the cart itself will be very handy to do yard work the problem I had with it is the directions sucked it took me way longer to put this together than I should have and the bottom floor of the cart the holes didn't match up I called the manufacturer and this is ordered May 2025 I would not get my replacement piece until March of 2026 so needless to say I had a drill more holes in the bottom of it so I could use the cart if you plan on ordering this just make sure you have lots of patience trying to put it together and don't put the wheels on first put them on last

At least I now have a garden cart.
Overall design is good - probably copied from the original garden way cart. Workmanship is fair at best - sharp unfinished ends on metal edging, poor directions, pre-drilling was sloppy and some holes simply didn’t align and had to be drilled again. But, it has been very useful.

Not as good as it looks
Its ok. Plywood thin holes dont line up in spots. Could not get end gate in without disasembling and cutting plywood. Paint flaking off. 40 years a carpenter and it was a challenge to not scoff and laugh whenbl was done putting it together. After l got done l gave it to my cousin who likes to garden. My gardenway cart was a little old and needed a little t l c so l repaired it. 100 times better thicker metal solid steel axle not light conduit better tires 5 ply plywood 3/4 inch thick not 3/8 like the strongway. Its not real bad but l dont think it will hold the400 lbs they claim many times if at all before the axle breaks. Buy a two wheel wheelbarrow first before this cart. There cheaper and tougher. Good luck out there.

Great cart for the price
I’ve used this yard cart for over a month now, and have to say it has lived up to all my expectations. I wish I had bought one years ago. I use it to move tree mulch, which granted isn’t very heavy, but is bulky. This yard cart holds just about 2 wheelbarrow loads, so that cut my trips to and from the mulch pile to the garden in half. With the balanced load and large wheels, it is so easy to move. I now find myself grabbing this cart over a wheelbarrow most of the time. I did add my own back board to the cart so that none of the mulch would spill out the back.As to the packaging, it came with a large gaping hole in the top of the box, and the axle was sticking out the side. Yet, the only damage inside was a small ding in the metal edging near the end of the bottom board. I just hit it back in shape.Assembly was not difficult, once I called the company to understand which bolts were # 8, etc. The number after was the millimeter length, which I suspected, but called just to verify. I counted the bolts in the package and had the right number of bolts, but not the right number of each. However, it was not a problem because the longer bolts still worked where a shorter one was supposed to go. The cart went together very easily. I used a punch to line up one of the holes that didn’t want to match the hole in the metal bracing. That squared up the rest of the holes. It took me a little over an hour to assemble. My only complaint about this cart is that the front bar that keeps the sides from spreading sometimes prevents the mulch from sliding out. When I swing it off the clip, the bar hits the ground, and I have bent it a few times. Fortunately, it is relatively thin metal, so it is easy to bend back in shape. It would be better if the cart had some mechanism to hold it upright, so it doesn’t hit the ground.Would I buy this cart again? Definitely, yes!
