I think since they are cotton they tend to be tighter. I bought medium and they feel like small, I don’t like how my hips kind of spill out in them . The tightness makes my stomach roll more visible. If I order again I will order in large. I’m 130 lbs, 5 ft tall

To be clear- this is my first foray into the world of thong underwear. I have a larger derrière and I read that thongs provided a better experience than constantly tugging on the excess fabric of the appropriately large brief panties I’ve worn up until now. I specifically wanted to look for a thong that had a generous waistband- *especially* in the back so that if my trousers waistline sunk when bending over, no one would be able to tell that I was wearing a thong. On that front, this underwear performs pretty well but mostly because it’s fairly low rise- unless you’re also wearing low rise trousers, this underwear will not show. I appreciate that the fabric strip between the legs is wide enough to keep everything covered- something I commonly saw as an issue in comparing reviews on other brands. My only complaint is that the fabric in the front is not wide enough- more than just bikini line shaving is necessary for these. Other than that, this seems to be a good thong (again, nothing in my experience to compare them to!) and the range of colours is very nice- although I won’t be wearing the fluorescent highlighter yellow one anytime soon haha

I tried one on (over my yoga pants) and it fit great. I then washed them all and they all shrunk so much (width and length) that they’re too tight to wear. Digs into skin. I’m a size XS for reference.

So, I have been on the hunt for cotton thongs for the LONGEST. I cannot tell you how many packs I've purchased and thrown out. I decided to give these a try and I am SO glad I did! Not only are the comfortable (they do not ride up the front and they do not create any friction between your cheeks), but they are flattering as well! I LOVE the high rise on them and the thicker band. If you're in between sizes I would definitely go up a size so the band doesn't dig into any love handles. I wore these all day running errands, and then went to the gym for leg day .... i did not feel any discomfort at all! The front piece covers everything (yes I'm looking at you Kim K and your micro thong!), and the cotton makes them breathable! I will definitely repurchase!

I cannot express this enough - these thongs are by far better than any kind I’ve put on before. I love that the are high rise, personally I only wear high waisted jeans so I knew I would love these, too. I think the high rise thongs give my figure a more appealing look (more so to me..I hype myself up every time I look in the mirror wearing these LOL)They are super comfortable and great quality.If you are in between sizes like me (Small/Medium), I would suggest getting the Medium.I’ve had mine for a few months now and they’re all I will wear, so I’m constantly washing them. There hasn’t been any problems with lack of quality whatsoever. I plan to get more and don’t see myself buying any other kind of thongs now. :)

So far, out of the 18 pairs I ordered, 4 are now damaged in some way and through no fault of my own. One quickly developed a hole near the waistband, another's waistband is coming apart (the elastic band inside, that is), and the stitching is simply falling out of the other two. I know none of these damages are due to how I'm wearing them because the underwear is actually a bit big on me (even though I followed the size guide to the best of my ability); the thongs ride up WAY high (like, Urkel territory in most cases) and actually wedgie me, which isn't supposed to happen. It's a shame because the material itself is comfortably soft and I like the design of the crotch (not to mention it's cotton-lined, so things can breathe).Edit of 12/15/19: Two more pairs have developed the same problem of the elastic inside the waistband coming apart at the seams. Seriously, when these thongs are actually BAGGY on me, how is this continuing to happen? Granted, I'm not expecting couture quality underwear for the discount store price I paid, but I was hoping for a bit better quality than what I'm dealing with.
