U-Pol Products 2001 Anti-Silicone Additive Fish Eye Eliminator - 250ml Bottle

I refinish bathtubs and tile and my activator has a contaminant in it (confirmed by the chemist) and this product is making a big difference. I’m very happy, my only complaint is when I unboxed it some had leaked out so everything was oily. It wasn’t a big deal because the bottle was still almost full so it’s fine.

Solved my problems I was having with fisheyes in my automobile clear coat. One point that should be made is, once you use this in a spray gun, you have to use every time after that in that spray gun. Because it is pure silicone, lacquer thinner will not wash it out completely. If you don’t add next time it will cause fish eyes. However it is cheap enough to use each time, which I do now. I had a moderate problem of fisheyes because I’m painting in a detail shop that uses silicone in buffing compounds and wax. Not matter how much I degreased prior to paint I would get fisheyes. This product eliminated my problem. I’ve painted 5 hoods, 3 roof tops, 10 bumper covers since using this and I’m getting a smoother coat, less orange peel and no fisheyes. I would not want to paint without it, made my work look more professional. I’m buying more so will always a a supply on hand because I paint every day

We refinish tubs and cabinets. We run into silicone residue on almost every tub. This additive fixed our fisheye problems easily.

It did what I needed it helped with fish eyes in lacquer when brushing or spraying and it also worked in the two-part table top epoxy that I was using as well.
