Naples - Michelin City Map Laminated 9217: Laminated City Plan (Michelin City Plans, 17)

Laminated, or flexible, maps work perfectly for me when I am on a city holiday abroad. They are durable and in my view easier to handle, and fold, than paper maps. They are made by more than one company, but this Michelin map was the only one I found for Naples. It is excellent, with a great map of the Bay and a more detailed one of the historic centre, where I shall be staying when I visit.

Just came back from Naples and took this along to help navigate this city.If you are ok with map reading then this is really easy to use, it has a comprehensive list of road names and grid references; together with all the major sites noted down and the metro system is covered on the back.If you do go, don't forget to visit Via Toledo is a must for shopping (approx. 1km long), the cathedral to St Gennaro (Duomo) - easily a rival to the Sistine chapel and no long (3 hour) queues; Castel St Elmo - for the breath taking views of the city.

Map is helpful - however, would have been more helpful if someone had said how dangerous Naples was before we actually went! Do not know why there is a tourist map of Naples - Tourists should NOT go!

Nice map with lamination which I can write on with vis-vis erasable pens. Am using for my visit to Naples UT. Good size to put in pocket or vest.Will not get wet from sweat,etc.

Muy decepcionado. El plano és muy torpe, no están todas las calles y la letra és diminuta y se hace muy difícil de distinguir. Se han olvidado de indicar uno de los funiculares centrales de la ciudad, cosa imperdonable. La parte aumentada omite una gran parte del centro.Los planos que te dan en los hoteles no són peor que este. Lo único bueno és el material plástico con el que está hecho. Por si todo ello fuera poco, l precio és elevado. Nada recomendable.Hay otros planos mucho mejores y más baratos.

There was not a description, nor picture of the full product. Did not know if the map was one sided or two.If I had know what was on the back side of the map I would have ordered two. Instead had to make a trip to Kinkos/Fed Express and pay twice the price of the map to copy the back side.
