Pamela's Gluten Free Biscuit & Scone Mix, 13 Ounce

Loved this product. Tasted good and kids liked it.

As a person that had to switch to a gluten free diet for actual medical reasons, and not just because it is a current trend or seems like a good idea, I have tried multiple gluten free products. The fact of the matter is gluten is what makes bread products light and gives that yummy home baked flavor. I've tried creating my own flour blends, but Pamela's products are terrific and save all the fuss and bother. It's easy to follow a gluten free diet for anyone willing to do their own baking, but still hard to equal the taste of good "light bread." These biscuits have a wonderful flavor, and biscuits have been one of the things I've missed most. The only drawback, which is consistent with all gluten free baked goods, is they crumble very easily especially when hot. The great flavor makes up for that flaw, and I like cold biscuits which crumble less than when hot. I highly recommend all of Pamela's products, and the Amazon price is better than in the specialty stores. I have several of her products on subscribe & save.

I was making breakfast for my girlfriend's mom who avoid gluten the way that my rabbit would avoid the sound of a harmonica. I didn't know how to play the harmonica, so I would just inhale and exhale making god awful sounds, and it wasn't until I saw my rabbit running for her life that I realized she truly hated harmonicas. I can only imagine what sort of horrible blood-sucking creature my poor rabbit was imagining could make that sort of noise.ANYWAYS, I was making gluten-free pancakes and decided to also make some biscuits, so I ordered this thinking it would be so-so. I was extremely happy with the biscuits that came out. I had ordered a couple of bags and cooked them all so I had leftovers and they were awesome the following days. I am not a gluten-free person, but really loved these biscuits!! Buy them!

Surprisingly cheaper at whole foods by a whole dollar :( love the mix by the way. You can make sweet or savory rolls and it bakes up fine when I oak out with veggies for veggie country biscuits.Amazon needs more competitive pricing!

My wife has to eat gluten free, and in support if that, I try to do it as much as I can too. Finding good tasting, baked anything that's gluten free can be tough to find, but this mix does very well. I made homemade buscuits and gravy and was very pleased with the biscuits. Went with the country style buscuits. They were a tad dry, but barely worth even noting. That's hardly a complaint, since dry and gluten free breads are synonymous with one another. That's like saying the sky is blue. It's more of a statement than anything, which is why I still give it 5 stars.
