Great value; accurate and invaluable
I'm an amateur fabricator, working principally in steel and wood.I've had this tool for a year now and I wouldn't be without it. I often work in odd, random angles, and a tool like this is invaluable in setting up my workpieces and my tools. It's great for setting and comparing angles on workpieces. It can also be used for directly comparing angles on one (part of a) workpiece with another. There's no other way to easily do this. I also use it for setting tool angles; for example the cutting angle on my chop saw.Quirk: When you turn it on it reads 0.0, regardless of the angle of the two rules at the time. So (unless you're measuring relative angles) make sure that the two rulers are perfectly parallel (or set them both vertically against a flat surface) when you switch the tool on.The tool is very good value.Note. I'm not sure why it says "Electronic Spirit Level" in the description: it's not.

Really need to tighten the adjusting screw down
Well packaged and well presented. You may encounter a problem with the adjustment of the angle setting screw it requires quite a bit of force to ensure that it is locked into position. I have fitted a synthetic washer to mine and that has resolved the problem. Apart from that it really is an indispensable tool for the workshop. Kind Regards SteveJ.

Great value item.
I looked at a few of these and decided on this one purely for price. It did, however have all the features of the more expensive ones. I’ve tested it out a bit and it works really well. Handy to have the zero function on it too. For working out and one angle from another.

Great for tool setting
Immensely useful in setting up circular saws for angled cuts.Is also useful in transferring angles from one item to allow a matching angle to be cut.I use this to make a series of Arbours and it is great to set the angle needed (22.5° is a regular) and to use this tool to mark on cutting guidelines and to set the saw up.There are other ways of doing this but this tool simplifies this.

Poor Instruction & Excessive Packaging
I received this in solid blister packaging which required real effort to open. Then, the battery came in another sealed blister pack. I am 75 years old and found trying to get the fiddly battery case out very frustrating. Eventually, managing it, I put in the battery in what looked to be the logical way up. When it didn’t work I had to fight to get the battery drawer open again and turn the battery the other way up. Some instruction as to which way up would have helped. A diagram is on the Amazon page but that’s not helpful at the time.Item appears to be well made and i so hope it’s easier to use than it was to get opened and up and running.

Excellent well made tool
This tool is great. Simple to use and easy to read angles. I used it to do the trim pieces around doorways to finish my wood flooring. One thing I would say is perhaps have a drawing or sticker to show which way the battery goes. I managed it ok but some people might not. Overall an excellent tool that should last a long time

OK but not great
This is an OK piece of kit, but it’s not perfect by any means. The main problem I have with mine is that the hand screw can’t be tightened sufficiently to lock the angle successfully. This makes transferring a measured angle to (say) a piece of wood a very hit and miss affair. Effectively you have to handle the angle finder extremely carefully to prevent it from changing angle. This is frustrating, particularly as the readout is accurate to fractions of a degree. I’ll probably try some kind of washer to see if that will help, but as it is I wouldn’t recommend it wholeheartedly.
